Got bored of WMMT because lots of people stopped playing, so retired and am focusing on getting better at IDAS6AA so I came here. The possibility of my arcade getting MT4 is slim to none so I'm staying here! This post has been edited by ATRUM_Neto on Apr 12 2012, 08:00 PM |

Aw man, speaking of which. I totally forgot to go to the arcade over spring break! D'oh! There's an arcade by my house called Round 1 and they're supposed to have amazingly nice IDAS6AA machines! I wanted to go when I was home to confirm but I totally didn't. Maybe when I go home again in a few weeks. Does anyone else recognize the name Round 1? I'm sure there are a few people from my area. |

Mhm. Don't lie. You know we are cooler here at IDW. If we weren't I wouldn't be here with you guys. Either way, these are the best forums I've ever been to. We are a great community with people who are actually approachable and friendly to talk to. I mean when I was first here so many of you guys came out to say hi to me. You know who you are; and I thank you for that. I've made so many friends here, it's not even funny. Also kyon, you made my day. Thanks for the great laugh. This is the community I'm talking about right here.

More NEGATIVE than a black hole Group: ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 19,345 Member No.: 12,263 Joined: Sep 12th 2005 Location: Update Profile | Being an NCO sucks. The rewards are minimal compared to the shit ton of work being done. In the past two days alone, I've had maybe an hour of solid "I can actually sit at my desk" time. Everything seemed to explode at the same time when my assistant took leave this week. Government vehicles go missing and/or suffer catastrophic failures, a group of dormitory keys are missing for no reason, and my assistant decided it was in his best judgment to take the equipment shed and equipment fuel locker keys with him before taking a vacation 200 miles away. I've fielded at least twenty calls alone from my direct superior, and suffered more than a few visits from howling, purple-faced Group First Sergeants wondering just why I have a complete idiot working with me (he was appointed by the squadron, not me!). I have a feeling he's going to get shitcanned. Hard. |

More NEGATIVE than a black hole Group: ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 19,345 Member No.: 12,263 Joined: Sep 12th 2005 Location: Update Profile | USAF. I'm currently the dorm manager for the entire group here at Fort Gordon. That means that I am the new Airmen's first supervisor for a few weeks (or more, for troublemakers) as they get their paperwork transferred from their previous base, get acclimated to the area, and begin their careers as intelligence operators. For those few weeks before they go do their actual job, I have them working basic, menial jobs like mowing lawns, escorting VIPs, and maintaining the government vehicles. They do the jobs that nobody else wants to do. As special requests for extra duties come in from up top just about every day, I have to keep them in line and accountable for their locations and actions. This involves a lot of running around base making sure my "minions" are doing what they're supposed to be doing. I catch them slacking off and staring at their phones a lot, and they end up having a bad day once I confront them about it. As a front line supervisor for what we call "scut details" (menial labor), my job involves a lot of yelling and constant hand-holding since these newbies cannot make their own decisions. You'd be surprised at how many ways a lazy Airman can attempt to convince me that he doesn't know what I mean when I tell him/her to pull weeds. |

It was sunny in the morning, some low clouds but I honestly thought they were just going to dissipate and we would be in the clear. SO I didn't bring my umbrella. How wrong was I? It rained after I got out of class and I have to trek back to my room without any sort of cover. I know for a fact that walking in the rain without an umbrella is fun for the first two minutes. After that it becomes a journey through hell as you fight your way through the wind and the water. /truestory. Heard a couple of thunderclaps here and there. Overall the weather is nice today, I always welcome the rain. Except for the fact I forgot my umbrella, today was alright.

You must be crazy... The only thing better than walking in the rain is riding a bike in the rain, instant watercooling.

Yeah, I noticed the people riding bikes today were thoroughly enjoying themselves. I didn't get to see any amazing wipe outs so that was a bit of a let down. Well, now I have to deal with drying out all of my wet clothes today. Wet jacket. Wet shirt. Wet backpack. Wet jeans. Wet shoes. Yup. It's going to be oodles of fun! At least I have a nice warm mug of tea with me!

Underwear did not get wet? Must have been only a drizzle.

Please, I was soaked all the way through my shirt. I can assure you that I did not look pretty by the end of my 15 minute walk. I took special care to make sure that I wasn't soaked all the way through my jeans though. I hate walking with wet pants. But I guess this rain was only a drizzle compared to what other people may go through. Living in California, we always seem to freak out at the smallest amount of water falling through the sky.

I thoroughly enjoy riding in the rain. It feels like I can't get tired, like the water is so refreshing it is giving me energy.
Just found it weird that there was no underwear on that list. Or maybe it is not so weird...
