Current one is 9800 gtx+) http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=...ed=0CK8BEPMCMAQ I dont know what kind of power supply will be required and I know there are certified SLI ones. As for RAM i'm just gonna add 2gb of the same. Does anyone think ill have problems with this quick setup? PS: my mobo n psu need replacement only because of a recent problem of my comp shutting down randomly, yet the psu+ fans keep running w/ a solid green light. The only way to reset is to power off the PSU from the back and back on again. Help would be appreciated This post has been edited by Nezat101 on Nov 7 2011, 12:43 PM |

Personally, I would go for 650W for the PSU. Corsair or Thermaltake. Random PC closing can be two things : 1. PSU going bad (happened to me) 2. Overheating. Be sure to clean your PC at least once every 6 months. Personally, I would go for an Intel setup instead of AMD. Intel makes the best CPU these days and AMD can't seem to pick up the pace and seem to only compete with themselves. But the choice is still yours. You are the one paying. Btw, that AMD setup is using DDR3 so be advised. DDR2 won't work. See ya later. This post has been edited by Lebon14 on Nov 7 2011, 01:47 PM |

Huh... ok. But a 550 alone beats the SLI down :\ | ||

I read it can lead to driver issues and is inefficient especially considering i wouldn't have to replace my mobo w/ the single card option. But i was considering going w/ an AMD gpu chipset, not only to try something new, but i figured its better an amd to gpu to go w/ the cpu, may not do anything but ill give it a try. |
