Does anyone know a better way to create more tune points in stage 8?
What are the mission lists?
and do you need to be online to create an initial d.net subscription?

I'd really like to know. (Just from the sounds of it, yes I am in the United States (im asian though tongue.gif) and I know there's no Internet.

Loved initial D since 2002 <3

Hm...a US player huh? Well I can answer all of them, but i'm sure someone can link the picture to the second question. Spoilers: Since we don't have Internet we can't complete one of the missions.

Points: Tag? Winning a 1v1? Pretty sure they can nab a lot of points but I have not tested it yet.

Missions: There's a list somewhere...but I don't remember it.

D.Net: We need internet for D.Net so outta luck there mate.

If you are going to Korea and try to use your card here...assuming there's a Round 1 in where ever you live, you can't use it.

We have the JPN version and Korea has the EXP version. So if you don't have a Round 1 nearby then...your ok? But if you do have one...well you've made an EXP card.

Ooohhhh, a Mo Val player. Well to be technical we have the JPN or Japanese version, that's why everything is in Japanese.

Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and practically any Asian country not Japan will have the EXP or Export version. The cards are not compatible in-between versions. It's just logistics for Japan I guess...

Also what's your player name?

My user name is. ノクテイス

Also, I've seen videos on YouTube of people making drift turns (let's take the AE86 for example) and they drift at 5th gear but they maintain their speed through the drift. I'm assuming that its only possible with a fully tuned out car? I'm almost done with my 86 I just finish my 2door yesterday.

Yeah, it's that as well as something called BA. It's a technique used in the game, just practice it until you get the jist of the course.

Ah don't worry, every AS had a new physics feel to it. It takes a while for people to understand the new physics.

Also I find it disappointing that US SEGA won't allow online here. I'd love for someone to find out why.

That's easy to answer, the audience, the decline of arcades, and the fact that AS8 was not intended to come to the US. (I'm giving my end but feel free to add upon this.

Audience: Honestly there is a dying fan base for Initial D, now granted there is a lot of fans worldwide...but it's no way popular like Bleach or something mainstream. There really isn't that much interest in Initial D nowadays.

Arcades: Be honest, how many arcades do you see nowadays? In the Asian countries there is A LOT of arcades because they're still a hangout location. In the US? Not so much.

Locality: If you ever seen the start up screen it specifically states in English that this machine was not to be sold outside Japan. So there's that.

EDIT: Looking at my last reason...bleh.

If you're good enough, you may get that A3 super upgrade in your time there.
