It's completely a different game... For one the car actually goes sideways and you have to counter-steer, and the gear shifting is beside your lap like a real car! And driving skill from version 3 is not transferrable. Meaning, you have to learn from the beginning of a brand-new style of driving in the game Graphics are nicer and wide screen display. I guess i would overall say that it's a fun game, but it would take you a while to get used to it. And the shock of how much you suck the first time is inevitable I played a few time trials and then raced iketani in his s13 down akina dry. I didn't hit the walls and i felt i was going fairly fast but even so, near the beginning, his car being turbo went faster than me and i didn't pass him until the 4th corner. I managed to get an advantage of 175m by the end. Before choosing iketani i was thinking "hmm.. akina being my forte/best course, although this is a new version, I think i can take takumi " but i'm glad i didn't try that! Sometimes when i forget my card for Version 3, I just use a stock Trueno and beat takumi no problem . So I thought i could do the same in version 4! Nope! Anyways, very entertaining and there are a lot of options to choose from including car tuning, player's character face editting I would've tuned my car but i can't read Japanese that well and my girlfriend wasn7t there with me I think i had enough points to get an LSD upgrade Oh if you are wondering where i am, I'm in Japan right now Well, thanks for reading ! -Alan This post has been edited by 13964 on Mar 16 2007, 02:45 AM |
