you dont have to but it's a lot easier to play and you'll enjoy it more if you do have a wheel

get a g25, you can use paddle shift, sequential or non-seq
I like to use the paddle shift because you don't have to turn your wheel behind 90 degree, so its easy to use and your hand don't get caught

besides, g25's great for gran turismo, waiting for gt5 to come out and bring out the full potential of the wheel (I'm talking about the clutch)

Yes buy a wheel! It makes the game so much better. I bought a driving force pro for ps3 and I'm loving it.
