I don't have Best 08. I have exactly what's listed in the post up there. Which is, three tracks from Best 08 and three tracks only. I only had so much credit in my Japanese iTunes account, and not all the tracks were ones I really wanted, so I just went with those three to finish things up. Sorry to disappoint. |

| That`s 7 in the morning here  I`ve been listening through these and really quite liking them... favourites I would say are the R25 & Dekirus....followed by the trance ones. They`re not exactly "trance" as we all remember from the late 90`s really..... they seem to have more to them, not just prolonged riffs and breakdowns which can get a bit boring after a while.... they`re more like the Ultra Anime stuff  ....and Akachan is on a planet of it`s own |

Today is the day of release for UmaUma Trance 3, but Quake Holdings decided to list 3 MORE upcoming albums in the EXIT TUNES section.  This album was also released today, but it hadn't been listed before. Sorry, I can't exactly read the two kanji that come before TRANCE.  This album is out on the 21st. It is EXIT TRANCE PRESNTS SPEED ANIME TRANCE BEST ECSTASY. This one contains remix of themes from visual novels, ranging from the theme to the classic ToHeart, to themes from current VN and eroge such as Chaos;Head, 11eyes, and ef - the first tale. This track does contain 2 tracks that were featured in earlier albums. The first being the aforemention theme for ToHeart, and the BAD END theme for School Days (which is featured in both the game and the anime).  This album, which comes out on the Fourth of February, is Quake Holdings' first Miku Hatsune album. I'm not familiar with ANY of the tracks listed in the album, so >_>. |

Thanks Nomake Wan, what an excellent find...it`s really appreciated  ------------- @Hashiriya...are you using Internet Explorer ? If you haven`t got any security suite type software installed (and I don`t think you do going by what you said) I can only imagine it`s the security zone options in IE. Maybe you could check in those and see if S`Space is blocked or in an untrusted zone. I haven`t had IE installed since V6, so I can`t help you any further than that I`m afraid.  |

| My personal favourite is Akachan Trance, but only because it`s so insane The last one Nomake put up (Working BGM) is more like traditional trance, most of the others are Anime song based, with a trance element but not what we know trance to be like usually...they`re more interesting and aren`t just long passages of instrumentals and breakdowns.... You`ll have to test them and see ------------ As Nomake has just said the UmaUma ones are very good as well...it`s difficult to remember which are which sometimes though... I`m just checking out Gakkou 3, and "Take me home country roads" has just come on...they really are quite mad those lot at Exit I heard "Can`t take my eyes off you" on one of those from last night as well |

I'm using FireFox, and this problem only started cropping up yesterday when i tried to download umauma dekiru 3. The weird thing is, it's only throwing a fit with the albums Nomake Wan's uploaded (yes, all 3 of them). I can download all other files. In fact I uploaded a dummy file, and I could download it. May I suggest the archives be renamed and re-uploaded? |

Are you the guy I keep talking to on MSN? You sound just like him...  Well, as I explained to that guy on MSN, those are not, in my opinion, extended versions. I have both the nonstop and iTunes versions of R25 Volume 2, for instance, and the iTunes releases merely have incredibly generic intros and outros added. They really aren't all that great. If you don't mind all the songs starting and ending pretty much the same, then I guess you'd consider it extended. IN OTHER RELATED NEWS! My shipment of AWESOME showed up today! | Sadly, if the slip-up that happened on QUAKE RECORDS's site a few days ago is right (they accidentally posted a track list for UmaUma4), then ANIME JA NAI isn't on it. Nor is Nekomimi Mode or Soramimi Cake. Instead, we get Anna ni Issho Datta no ni. Meh. Anyway, I did my first lossless rips today, as requested by Hongfire. So tonight, I have FLAC+CUE rips of Speed Anime Trance Best 6, and Dramatic Trance Memorial. These are from real CDs, so they are of course nonstop mixes, not the iTunes releases. Speed Anime Trance Best 6 Dramatic Trance Memorial Sadly my CD drive is in the room my sister's sleeping in right now, so I can't rip Tokusatsu Trance, Working BGM Electrohouse or All-American Cinema Trance until tomorrow. | If they have replaced Acid Stone with Cascada, that`s even more bizarre as I can`t see what Cascada has got to do with anything, it seems a very odd replacement choice...... the rest are all the usual suspects and then they throw what appears to be a totally random euro-pop-trance song in there ?! So is Cascada correct for the final tracklist and all the other tracklists are wrong which don`t mention it ? I`m taking for granted all the rest are OK & correct as I haven`t checked. |

Negatory. The others are from physical CDs, which makes them delicious nonstop mixes. Only recently have impatient users started getting these albums from iTunes, without realizing that they may not be getting the same tracks as what's on the CD. Be vary wary when buying from iTunes; if the iTunes button isn't on a track on Quake Records's page, then you won't be getting the same album. Anime Trance 1-5, and the R25 albums are all nonstop mixes. I do have the iTunes release of R25 Volume 2, which St3v3n has requested. I personally don't find the generic intros/outros to be exciting, but a request is a request. Also, the torrents I'm uploading are all from CDs as well. I just finished ripping another three, so very soon there'll be three new torrents for y'all! |

(presumably) I only ever used it once to get some Attack stuff a while back, but I said I wouldn`t do it again. The problem being that the first 2 Attack oldies albums are only on there |

You didn't do anything wrong. It's because WinRAR won't open them at all.  You should use 7-Zip for opening those files. After installing 7-Zip, right-click on those files, then select 7-Zip -> Open Archive/Extract files..../Extract here. |

Oh calm yourself. I can't hear the difference above 192 kbps, so that's why it's ripped that way. If you want HQ, then wait for me to get the FLAC/CUE torrent going. It'll take a bit. | 320kbps mp3 and 990 kbps flac tend to have higher quality, and you'l notice it as you turn up your volume, for 192, when the volume is high, you'll get constant "pop" sound or the song sound really stractchy. |

| xD here's my way of testing it out get two room, one pair of speaker in each room(make sure they're identical spec), put 1 person in each room(perferablely twin, heck lock them up in each room if you want =D) set the speakers on max volume, one room play the flac, while the other play 192kbps, the one that dies first is the one that listened to 192kbps =D @arc angel have you uploaded the trance master 03 yet? >.< so impatience for it |

That, and the mp3 files doesn't play gaplessly. Those are also the same problems with your rips of Tokusatsu Trance 2 and Tecktonik Best. Maybe next time, you should use foobar2000's Convert feature for ripping mp3's from CD's, instead of iTunes. It's a lot much better IMO. Btw, thanks a lot for your FLAC rip of UmaUma 4! |

I don't know about that. When I rip using iTunes, it works perfectly fine for my purposes. And when I put all the MP3s into Winamp (as I do for my radio shows) they do, in fact, play gaplessly. How odd that our experiences are so different. I'm re-uploading links to the MP3 rips once these new FLAC+CUE torrents are seeded properly. This time around I used EAC to rip individual WAV files, then used GoldWave Digital Audio Editor to convert the WAV files to MP3 while also adjusting for full dynamic range. Yeah, I kinda agree that it was a little odd. I think I know why the files didn't play gaplessly on fb2k. It's because iTunes writes the gapless playback data on the "Comments" field of the ID3 tag of the ripped files, in which fb2k wouldn't recognize. And thanks again for Tokusatsu Trance 2, N1! |

I'm pretty sure that rename softs don't romanize filenames... I want that because : 1. I can't remember the song names because they are in Japanese 2. I can't mix them in Audition... Audition doesn't recognize any sound files having Unicode caracthers (such as Japanese). So I need to romanize everything. Also, that rikaichan plugin isn't what would have helped me for... you know. I don't need a dictionnary for ONLINE. I would need a rename app that would use the folder structure/ID3Tags to rename a file and that includes the app being able to romanize Japanese/Chinese/Korean. |

Not to sound like a jerk, but couldn't you simply use google to track down the names of the tracks. I don't think the Exit Trance albums are so obscure and niche that you couldn't find the romanization of the tracks or English translation. @N1: It wouldn't be that hard to add a text file with the details Lebon is asking for either. Not that it will matter to you but other groups, such as Nipponsei (I think), include a text file of the tracklist. |

You're silly! Here, lemme give you an example. Track 20 of Anime Best the Movie is "Kaze to Issho ni," but the Japanese title is 風といっしょに, instead of 風と一緒に. Many titles can be written like that, where the artist decides to go with kanji, katakana or hiragana. That's why people (specifically, the majority of people I get feedback from) are asking for the original track names instead of romanized stuff. And awww, Lebon doesn't know how to open text files in Firefox? Baww. As the saying goes, if you can do better, then do it yourself. |

| Aw drat, I saw Working BGM Trance 2 and was like ZOMG but it's an iTunes rip instead of the nonstop CD, baww. Anyway, wanted to let you guys know, Amazon Japan is AWESOME as always, they already shipped the CD out to me. It'll be on my doorstep Wednesday morning. Of course, due to Anime Expo, I won't be doing a show on Friday... but that's okay! I'll have MP3 rips, at least, up by the end of Wednesday night. | The FLAC's cues are f**ked up. Someone doesn't know that CUE files aren't compatible with UNICODE filenames and thus giving playback errors. Yep, no seeding for me. Next time, be sure to romanize your FLAC filenames and CUe file AND include a text file with the original Japanese title if you want your CUE files to work correctly. EDIT Hanaji is f****** hardcore! Unicode/UTF8-encoded cue sheets doesn't have problems when played in foobar2000, but in Winamp (with the cue sheet plugin), only ANSI is recognized. What media player are you using? |

| Foobar2000 but I got an error when I opened the CUE file. So, it's broken. A quick romanize of both the CUE file's name and flac file, romanized the link to the file and double-clicked it. It was working. Well, also, it doesn't help when you have unicode names and you are writing with an apps that creates ANSI CUEs... (opening the file with Notepad++, you would see gibberish) --- HANAJI is f****** SPEEDCORE. 232 BPM! |

Yea, you visualize the ue as an ANSI file, but the characters written are in UTF-8. What I do is open the cuesheet in Firefox and it shows the file with the correct charset. Copy the page you see and paste it in the cuesheet opened with notepad. Then save the cue as UTF-8 in "Save as...", overwrite the original file, and it will fix it. This album is more fast and hard than the others, I suppose that's the reason why they have chosen a cover like the ryoujoku hardcore. ¿Someone knows where the last track is from? Yes, indeed you are right. It's an original song; it's not a theme song from an anime. Looks like it was a bonus track (hence why it was first heard as a demo track on NicoNico Douga, in an official upload by Quake Records)
Yeah, I also thought of that, too. It's indeed heavy on high-speed/hardcore stuff than the previous releases, and this is also the first time I've ever heard a nu-style gabber track on the SPEED ANIME TRANCE BEST series (that is, HANAJI, much like Lebon14 have mentioned). |
