those are pretty much right EXCEPT the akina one, it's 146
and for iro, 5th doesn't matter since u usually only reach 5th at the final straightaway

plus after the 2nd hairpin i can reach 5th...but i dont shift up cuz the next hair pin(3rd) is that one gay understeer crap one...

no understeer f you enter it right, it's just akwardly shaped because of that wall, it used ot f**k with my head

I KNOW Zyk gave you those 8V points. Tyvm, now I can slowly FT an 8V over the school year for Team Kengai.

shift points for FC...do they work or is redlining more effective?

well you're going to get out-accelerated if you only shift at redline, especially true in the lower gears because to my knowledge, there are few if any at all cars where you shift at redline for the lower gears, meaning you'll be over-revving like nuts.

in my opinion...the 86 with the engine is a beatch to drive...

Weird thing happened.

I was racing my friend on Irohazaka DH and he was able to accelerate off the line faster than my Altezza. I nailed my shift points exactly and he nailed his, so how was he able to get past me?

I'm guessing the FT vs my 160k car makes the difference? *is very confused*

it kinda helps if u tell us wut his car was...

but altezzas start up goes down on iro...well it did in ver 2

I used the ones people have said is good for battling.

6k, 6k, 6.5k, 7k, 6th gear when necessary. I also hot start, if that makes a difference.

Just wanted ta say Good Job to BabaR32 and Dooboo for all of these shiftpoints and all the question answering.....Keep up the good work Dudes....

i noticed that when the difference between uphill n downhill shifting is about 10kph. so when going uphill, subtract 10kph off the full speed on that gear goin downhill...well from what i've found when racing on tuchi.

my 86 when going uphill is full 130 shifting from fourth to fifth(i think), downhill i shift from fourth to fifth at somewhere around 140.

just adding my 2 cents.

GC8V Skyline, that is so true, however not on all courses. Ive found that (for example) in Akagi. I change from 4th to 5th with the GTR on 133 give or take, while on the downhill I change at 140. ITs not always 10km/h constant. It also depends on the Tachometer of your car. But its in the range of 7 to 12 km/h the uphill and downhill shifting difference.

yeah it's especially hard on a trueno with the engine upgrade, so hard to get to the shift point n if you get it wrong ur screwed. i mean they had to make it in accordance to the anime so they made the rev go up to 10500 instead of the 11000 range.

i've lost so many times on akina with my 86 for not getting the shift point

but so far i can hold my own on all courses

familiarize urself with the car, that's how to do it
