They've been doing that since 1991. Do you think it'll stop now? Heck, it was even faster paced in the past lol. (1 volume / month + all other side comps & series)

theyre really shootin for quantity over quality now a days especially since eurobeats taking this evolution of sound thats not even that good to begin with

You could say that 2011 and before where they were still releasing one compilation a month. Now, the more it goes, the farther the releases will get imo. So, it's more quality over quantity now. I mean... 15 tracks every two months from 7 eurobeat labels. Come on. That was more hectic when it was 18 tracks over 3 eurobeat labels...

Now seriously, I don't see all that quality in those bi-monthly releases… well, it's just me.
I remember all the hype from 221, then… things just got calm again… we'll see, huh?

Good thing is that I can always see some improvement, even the slightest, from every label. Sometimes, there are "lazy" releases as surprisingly great tunes, always moving forward!

SEB always repeated some of the song here and there as far as I can remember? People bought them though...

i never understood 6 minute eurobeat songs, cause the whole genre is justlke YEAH IM FEELIN THE ENERGY and im just jumpin, but then its like a minute and a half just loop/break and im just ???????????

Yeah, it's really rare for a eurobeat song to do anything other than repeat slightly different variations of the same verses and chorus over and over again, so I don't get why the song has to be six minutes long

Some people might find this !incomprehensible! but unless it's one of my SUPER JAMS I often skip songs halfway through because I've already heard the good parts enough times over.

I like to hear the bits not used in the mixes since they seem to always use the same section of the song in every mix. Overplayed songs like Cherry's Yesterday I'll usually skip in a mix but the extended version I can listen to.

but you want to talk about repetitive, listen to the 18 minute version of m.o.v.e - knock 'em out I made a long time ago. It's basically the variants of the song tacked together, but I was crazy about the song when I made it so it didn't matter.

I seriously miss the 90s because of that, longer songs feel fuller - of course, bad songs will still be bad - but that's just a matter of opinion. Question is if Avex slowed that one song down, if is that so, it would be a dumb thing (Rich Hard, anyone? Hello?)
