I would like to know if PC is still used in 1.5? PC as I understand is to use 2 feets, when you exit the corner, you lightly release the gas, you tap the break, release the brake, and full throttle? Should I apply this to every corner? For example, in lake akina, if I go in the corner at 190km/h, and when I exit, the car decelerate to about 186, should I use PC or just keep the foot on the gas pedal? I have other questions: - Is there any difference between press the gas pedal all the way and press it half way? - In every race, should I always try to stick to the inside lane as close as possible? Because sometime, normally when taking sharp almost U turn corner, you would want to open up your turn a little bit by going to the outside lane and then attack the corner. But I heard WOLF said that hugging the inside lane is faster? is that true or I misinterpret it? Thanks guys, I'm fairly new to ID4. |

Well, since there is a pressure difference, then yes there is, but only acceleration wise in a straight line. I doubt that controlling your gas pedal will result in any improved cornering style. That's true for the most part. See, the physics are made so that as long as you turn early enough at the right speed, you can turn illogically through the corner. An example would be Iro's wallrape, the car seems to hug the inside for a second as it repositions itself, then rockets out. |

About the hugging wall thing, let say the situation is and U turn and the in and out road are two long straight line (a very tall U with narrow bottom). Should I keep hugging the inside of the U all the time or go out at the beginning on the road and dianogly gunning at the corner? It just seems to me in 1.5 that hugging the wall, the more I have to turn the wheel, the faster my speed decelerate. |

You should be flooring the gas after startup if what you want to do is go forward faster, there's no point in holding it back. Well, of course you're going to want to follow the line for the next upcoming curve. As I said, the physics are made for drifting when you turn the wheel more than 5 degrees; probably less. It's a mentality you have to get used to. As for Speed loss, once you start tuning up your ECU that should be reduced. |
