It is a great base for a 85+ 3rd gen Camaro, I will admit that.

cm108kgh originally made the base for a 1992 RS. I used his half-finished 1990 IROC-Z base.

Well for a newbie as you said, its very good. Clean, simple, quite nice actually.

Shading is not that difficult. Just study how the base is shaded, and try to apply those same techniques for your own add ons, such as spoilers, bumpers, etc.

Theres a pixelcar thread somewhere, dont be shy to pop in and ask the better pixelers wink2.gif (not me laugh.gif )

The rear axel is to bright, way to bright. I personally think the exhaust is too small, and something looks kinda weird on the rear bumper. Other than those things it's pretty good. smile.gif

I brightened up the rear differential to give it the look of being chrome.

I will definitely check out that thread.

Well, even if it is chrome it still is under the car so not much light would hit it anyways. :/ I would change it.

Good idea, I'll darken it a tiny bit.

I think you should have the lightest shade of the axle a tiny bit darker than the darkest shade of the exhaust tip, or that same shade. I think that would work out well. smile.gif

There should be more contrast in the shades, it looks a bit flat right now (unless that's what you're going for, if so, make the lightest shade a bit darker).

Maybe you should also re-color the car? Just a thought, though.

I didn't make the shade chart, only took out the color. It was originally a purple car. Don't like grey? Lol...

I finally was able to figure out how to get the SV of the cowl hood on, it looks like it could use more work to me because it looks off a bit.

I blacked out the foglights and reshaded the differential.

Maybe the differential could be a shade darker, and the foglights need to be lightened way up, as of now they look like holes. sad.gif

"I blacked out the foglights "

I don't know how much darker the differential can get before I don't like it.

Oh, I get it now. I thought you meant to give them the "smoked" appearance. My bad. :/
