You're a funny guy, considering I lived not two minute's drive from where the Toyota Aurion was made. Please, tell us more about my country's car production, I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about but you seem to be a veritable fountain of knowledge. | ||

IDW God Member Group: Members Posts: 165 Member No.: 16,876 Joined: Mar 26th 2006 Location: australia | sorry but i was just pointing out that most cars that are sold in Australia are imported, even that great Australian icon Holden Commodore, some are made in the US by Chevrolet and imported into Australia. As for Australians making Chinese cars .... well, some Australian manufacturers have their goods made in China and as far as I know only Toyota, General Motors and Ford make cars in Australia. And most small cars are imported. Anyway what cars are or are not made in Australia has nothing to do with the topic t hand This post has been edited by char on Aug 23 2012, 10:48 AM |

(Not exactly sure how everybody viewed the movie...but I certainly despised it..) |

Aside from a scene where the speedometer is treated like a tach the movie was fine. You just have to treat it differently from the Anime is all. I mean heck, I liked it enough to buy it, so. | ||

It is just not as widely known as other titles like Naruto or FMA. The people who know about Initial D loves it. |

I would, in fact I did saw the live action first before hunting for the anime and manga. Well, it's just me. I know for a fact that film adoptations of novels/games/anime does not represent it 100%, I did wanted to see if the anime is shitty just like the live action. But up until now, it amazes me. | ||

------------------------------- I hope that's the case. If not, I feel that somebody is gonna have to take a trip to Beijing and school some Chinamen on the down hill! This post has been edited by theAbsolutelyRedLink on Nov 21 2012, 06:25 PM | ||

Exactly, the demographics are probably extremely biased... You take a single poll from some random forum full of Chinese male otakus who probably don't even care about Initial D, then you round-up the top ten least mentioned anime and blow it out of proportion calling them "Most hated"...this is all just theory, but if you want a demographics of China, good luck with that. There are places in China where people can't even afford the electricity to watch TV let alone the money to buy TV to even watch Initial D. Statistics and polls like these need to be exposed of their flaws so we don't follow misconceptions and wrong assumptions (Slams table) *TAKE THAT* This post has been edited by RIT_ninja on Nov 23 2012, 12:08 AM | ||

Although it's safe to say at least 40% of statistics are bullshit to begin with. | ||

A point you do make, taking news out of context and relating it to this is a little. I dunno. Counterproductive, in furthering your opinion rationally. Or something. I dunno. Sandwiches! Everyone enjoys those. Or not. | ||
