So to avoid a necropost... As a fan of older anime and manga series in general I'm surprised to say that Initial D was one of the first seinen series that I've watched/read. But looking back I've been into a lot of shonen and action type series. Some of the series that I've seen so far in no particular order (only listing the ones that I liked ): Trigun GunXSword YuYuHakusho Case Closed Pokemon (Seasons 1-4 ONLY) YuGiOh (Seasons 1-2 ONLY) Scrapped Princess MuShiShi (Probably the only other seinen series that I've seen so far) Rurouni Kenshin Shaman King Devil May Cry Eden of the East (Is this seinen?) Evangelion Full Metal Alchemist (Original and Brotherhood) Tiger&Bunny s-CRY-ed Eureka Seven ... And I can't think of anything else at the moment! But yeah I'm really intrested in what other people here have watched/read. So I hope I'm not breaking any rules by doing this! This post has been edited by THE_HONDA_CG6 on Oct 2 2011, 09:36 PM |

Ah yes Tiger&Bunny, it's pretty unique right? I'm trying to get other people into it but no luck so far. I'm really sad it ended though but I'm kinda split on whether or not it should have a second season or not.

I broke into anime thanks to my dad oh so many years ago. The first anime I watched was Fatal Fury, the original movie, followed by the sequels. - Cat Girl Nuku Nuku - Crying Freeman (I was told to turn away during objectionable scenes... which are like all of them) - Street Fighter II (the kickass animated movie) - Robotech (dad rented a lot of the VHS tapes from the Invid era, aka New Generation) - Voltron (GoLion) I sort of forgot about anime for a few years, until I left Iowa and lived with my mom in Kansas. That's right around when Toonami broke ground and kicked total ass (back before it sucked). - Dragonball motherf**king Z - Gundam W - Tenchi (all of them) - Rurouni Kenshin - Big O - Mobile Suit Gundam - S-Cry-Ed - Cowboy Bebop - Outlaw Star - Trigun - Pilot Candidate YES I REMEMBER IT - Great Teacher Onizuka - Inuyasha I also got into a lot of decent series' once I joined the military. - Shuffle! - Cyber City Oedo 808 (F**K THIS GODDAMN SHIT) - Detective Conan - Hellsing (and now the Ultimate OVA series) - Please Teacher! - Death Note - Fullmetal Alchemist - Ouran High School Host Club |

It was the anime boom so you had Starz movie channels showing anime movies and series like Macross Plus OVA Patlabor the Movie Patlabor 2 Macross II Street Fighter II: the Movie Blue Seed Bubblegum Crisis 2040 Some series that are near and dear to me are. Outlaw Star Cowboy Bebop Tenchi Muyo and Mobile Suit Gundam I haven't caught as many shows as of late. I did complete Durarara and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Trying to complete K-On!! and Baccano is a series that is basically next on my list. |

Do it now! It's a really short series (16 episodes long) and I really liked the FUNimation dub, I think they did a wonderful job with the cast. All the characters sound like they belong, and they put a lot of work into it. And I remember the first anime that I watched was Inuyasha with my cousin like way back ten years ago. Man I'm old... =_=

List it my friend! I'm curious to see what other Initial D fans have watched. I started this topic to see what kinda shows other people who are into Initial D watch, since this is a seinen genre are there other seinen shows that are good out there?
