The bad thing is, series that go under this label usually are series that didn't sell good. I kind of hope this isn't the case, because they went to the trouble of picking up all 3 series and the movie... Granted, it's First Stage, so it probably is just one season that didn't do well. At Otakon last year, which was around when Fourth Stage and Third Stage were out, they said the series was doing well, which probably meant those two seasons since First Stage wasn't out yet. It's a very tough sell to market something with poor animation, unless it's a legacy series like Gundam or Dragonball. |

That is true. I don't know if they're going to do SAVE for Fourth Stage and the rest considering their statement from Otakon. EDIT: November solicits are out and now Second & Third Stage are in a SAVE collection. I guess this means Fourth Stage will follow suit. This probably means we're never going to see Battle Stage 1+2 or Extra Stage 2 in the US, or even a Fifth Stage if it happens. It does give people a chance to buy the series cheap but series that went straight to SAVE from half season sets are pretty much a case of no future seasons being licensed (Big Windup had that happen). Yeah. As much of a bad sign as they may be, I bet they will do a little better than the half season sets at least. | ||

Heck the tokyo pop had better picture qulity for some reason. Just recently got the save sets . I hope to God someone finishes releasing the other stuff. Especially because at the end of the 4th it didn't seem to close it enough for me. Really hoping for a 5th stage . |

Still would be nice to have both Battle Stages and Extra Stage 2...one can dream |

It lost the touch if you get what I mean. But regardless, they did an amazing job in First stage thru Fourth stage. Been going back lately to watch from season 1 to now season 5. |
