Mm? I should try that too then.

If that's the case, could we say the EK is a good beginner car to get used to things?

I tried an EK9 before too, damn grippy, not fun to drift with.
I think it's the grippiest car in ID5.

lol.. yea... i was trying my darn hardest to throw the car into the corner...
FR or 4WD could be fishtailing or spin out in exit...

the EK9 just go... "meh~~ dont even try"... tail slides out a weee little bit... exit without even needing countersteer...
i was pinch2.gif

@DigiBunny: yea.. it does feel like a good car for beginners to work with braking and lining work

Kinda counter-intuitive for an FF to have a turbo, don't you think? It'd be understeering all the time whenever you try to exit a corner >w>

S2K, I can understand. But then it wouldnt be an S2k anymore.

We'd have an NSX :3

I used a Stock S2000 after someone left a free game on. I thought I'd be driving the way I used the '8.

I was dead wrong.
Even when it was stock, compared to my FT RX8, I could literally FEEL the difference in potential with this little bastard. Imagine what I could do with it!

You do realize the S2k is a NA, which does not have the Turbo Backfire right? It wouldn't normally backfire alot anyways xD. (I don't drive NA cars so I'll try tuning up an S2k later). It could also be that you don't have stage 4 exhaust, but I doubt thats the case.

Technically that's not the case. Takumi and Godhand have buttfire in the Anime because their engines rev to impossibly high levels, and gas that doesn't get burned flows out of the exhaust and combusts in contact with air.

But yeah. My RX8 doesnt spit fire either, so it's probably a unique to Turbo thing.

Try Tsukuba OB?
most gasing/ungasing action..
if the replay still doesnt show the fire, most prob s2ks dont:)

Any reviews on the EG6 and if it's grippy like the EK9? I know it's fastest at Myogi DH, but what about everywhere else?

I have EG6 it seem that the car lack power. If it is an uphill map you will be struggling with the gear i.e.. when you shift it to 5 gear the car felt like it not going fast.... then you have to drop it again to 4 gear.... This maybe because of mine is still in stock condition.... If I'm not mistaken *J*J* have a FT EG6 could you share some light on this humble little Vtec engine...

Just tried my EK9 today at TS. (it's another card of mine. LOL)

The EK9's feel somewhat grippy and easy to control for me. But since mine's not fully tuned yet; the car's response is slightly slower compared to others. But it's definitely a fun car to drive.

A very grippy car eh? So that means everyone is using it right? Like everyone's need to have an AE86 on their cards. laugh.gif

I've only ever seen ONE EK9 running around on a card. There's been Evos, DC2's, FD's, Truenos, even MR's, but not a whole lot of EK's.

FF = Lame Mentality, methinks.

Why lame mentality? Is it because like many said, the car is easy to drive?

If that was the case, it'd be whored harder than the Trueno.

Nah, I think it's more of a "What, another Civic? I see this kind of Failwheel drive every day. NEXT!" kind of thing.

Since when do you see an FD running around on a daily basis?

I think I get it. I see a lot of Civics on the road that makes me feel kinda boring if I had a card with an EK9 on it.

I would rather see my EVO 9 on my card the same as the car that I will be saving up for when I get a job, etc.

I rarely see EVO 9's here in PH. XD
