Thanx for yours reply ^^ The track day was in February 2004, and yes there was a lot of roll, my damper were dead Now I have Chassis Dynamics springs and KYB Excel G. The sticker is not from Ebay, it's vinyl (don't sure it's the right word in english) made, I order it from a shop doing flamming sticker for show-car or sponsor sticker for race car. The rear wings is ok, the car has been resprayed two years ago, it's rust-free. And I lived in south of France where the weather is shining For the wheel the 15" will soon received slick tyre for track use, and I got new 17" this style : ...for road use. Some kind of road where I ride : This post has been edited by Sk_Flowne on Oct 10 2004, 09:24 AM |

I personally don't like the yellow/black split on the exterior of that MR2. Was it originally like that or did you/previous owner get it painted? |

Shmuck Group: Members Posts: 7 Member No.: 3,580 Joined: Oct 6th 2004 Location: Update Profile | Ouch ! don't came back to this topic from a long time Well, this MR2 cost me 4500 € I bought it to a friend of me, it's a Swiss import, because the AW11 have never been sold by Toyota in France. It's quite expensive for a twenty years car, but it was a rust free car, rebuild with a TRD clutch, Koni strut + TRD spring, Cusco front strut bar, Black Diamonds (UK stuff) breakes (rotor+pads+hose). It was a CAT engine with AFM, just like USA MR2 wich output 115 HP. A friend of me, a Toyota mechanic, swap with the European setup : harness+ECU, throtle bodie, MAP witch output 125 HP. The paint is my choice sorry It's Sunburst Yellow and Brilliant Black, both of them from Mazda Miata. For the engine, the 4AGE is perfect for my use, well it's quite underpower but the magic handling of the MR2 make the difference. Another pics with another Touge Monster freshly imported from Japan : (only URL pics are very large) http://nsm01.casimages.com/img/2008/08/04/...61102346098.jpg http://nsm01.casimages.com/img/2008/08/04/...61102346097.jpg |
