it's not the heat, it's the humidity. Group: Members Posts: 227 Member No.: 1,269 Joined: Feb 12th 2004 Location: Update Profile | I use the LAN EVO IV... reason being i watch the Anime and I like the Emperors because I can relate to them alot, and that I have a LAN EVO IV myself. (1/24 model) hehe The LAN EVO IV is fast on the curve of Irohazaka and Happo and I can take the turns easily and efficiently. Since I tried out the EVO III misfiring system and was dissappointed from the results (or its just I am not skilled enough to notice a difference) I switch to than EVO IV and felt more confident in my gameplay. Group: Members Posts: 227 Member No.: 1,269 Joined: Feb 12th 2004 Location: Update Profile | I like the EVO IV because I took the EVO IV just to try it out then BOOM... I was running a 3'08" stock (partly luck ), in Akina. People where like WTF how did you beat a GC8 67,000 points. From then on I used the 4WD EVO IV, and most people think that since it is a 4WD car it grips more thank drift, but the reality is that the more points you gain the more loose the steering of the EVO IV gets (Which is not a bad thing at all). |

I like this car also, it has power and an average all round car, with its peak at iro. People say its not good because its 4WD but when you get behind one of these you would think it was a RWD through the way it drifts on the turns. By the way i got a personal best in Akina DH with a 3'05" w00t!! (was 3"07") 5 seconds away from my goal (3'00") This post has been edited by LAN EVO IV on Feb 18 2004, 05:51 PM |

Sorry FF i don't know how to do that, and yes that is the lunix penguin, by the way why would you want to do that? and also i do think the misfiring system is cool but i am hearing stories that it reduces turbo lag and others say it doesn't even work, what is true story? Linux, and Unix based OS'es are the way of the future. In, the game, I love the Evo III, but real life is a different story. I'm a fan of the Lancer Evolution II. Although, preferrably, I'd drive a Lancer GSR IC Turbo over any Evo, any day of the week.... This post has been edited by SlickDizzy on Feb 18 2004, 07:58 PM |

Orochi-blooded Level 99 Legend Group: Members Posts: 338 Member No.: 16,366 Joined: Mar 2nd 2006 Location: Waianae, HI | I like all of the Lancer Evolutions nearly equally, but I voted for the Evo IV since it broke the tie by being statistically the best overall out of all of them. BTW, I noticed that all of the 5 Lancer Evolutions in IDV3 are in this poll. Why is this thread in the "Version 1 and 2" section if only the Evos III, IV, and VII appeared in V1 and V2? Edit: Oh wait! I just realized that the poster above me did a thread necromancy here. But since this thread has been revived, the least that I could do is to give some of my thoughts about my favorite Evo. This post has been edited by Orochi Kyouichi on Oct 2 2006, 06:13 PM |
