Nope, IDAS8 has their own cards. Sorry to tell you this.

But, don't the cards work? I mean, the printout places would be out of place but if you had the cards in the machine it will still function right?

Think about this though, you HAD to transfer the IDAS6 card to IDAS7 and the card was still usable in the last version (someone correct me otherwise). And you HAD to transfer IDAS7 cards to IDAS8 and the card was only usable in IDAS7...so in theory the card would NOT be...savable outside of IDAS8 cards.

I know this was possible in previous versions (IE use D6 cards in D7 machines) at the very least and since the card reader hasn't changed, I suspect it's the same case here. |

It seems that neither blank ID6/7 cards will work with ID8. It will believe the card is right and let you enter a name and play, but will through a CRR error when doing its final write prior to ejecting the card. I believe this is similar to the cards for 4/5, while same reader, they did not work for 6/7. I will obtain some blank 8 cards and try again. INTRESTED IN BLANKS IF SELLERS HAVE SOME. The pair are linked but not connected to the sega online service. What limits will there be? For example, in ID7 offline, you could only get to B1. Thanks |

E3 is starting/max rank (requires online battle exclusively to rank up) 3. Project D missions are unable to be completed. 4. Unless you have a machine that was updated to 1.2 +D Rev.6 or Rev.7 you can't use BRZ, Evo V, Evo VI, or ER34 On a side note: I wish there was offline balancing. :'( This post has been edited by iDucKy on Oct 18 2015, 01:15 PM |

The error that comes up is something im still looking into and prevents the printing on the card. However all the data is saved and can be loaded. Thanks This post has been edited by speedyls91 on Oct 19 2015, 12:38 AM |
