AS8 Help....., Transmission Change

I ran into a problem recently that I let my friend borrow my car at my local arcade just to try AS8. However, he didnt know what he was pressing but, instead he changed my in game transmission into AT when originally it was MT. Any help changing it back would be much appreciated

Press view change on main intro screen do NOT put credits (where it says insert credits) 2. 1st option press start 3. Insert Card 4. Go to car customization (first one) 5. Pick your car that you need to modify 6. Press the 1st option 7. Go to the last option before exit (should have 2 options in it and cost 500 Driver Points) 8.
