So just to give a TL:DR version.

Xbox showed some games (Some were pretty decent, Scalebound is really making me want to try out the new game)

End of the conference they announced the Xbox S (Slim, apple style)

And guess what? Project Scorpio with large words, trust me, I know words, I know big words that words are good, and that's slated for next Holiday 2017. I GUESS the only good thing about that was all the things we have so far (Controllers/accessories) will work for the two new consoles. (4k/VR upgrade mostly)

But man, way too fucking early for this fucking console upgrades.

The Scorpio specs are fucking bonkers. Hopefully Sony comes up with something in turn...

I liked Bethesda's conference. It's an off-year for their main studio, so it was pretty much handed off to their subsidiaries this time around. The big upset was with them finally revealing the Skyrim Special Edition. Everything else they talked about was already known. Dishonored 2 looks nice, but we saw it at last year's E3 and they didn't bring anything to really WOW gamers with during the gameplay demo.

Microsoft's conference had some good shit. I like the S model, but with the Scorpio reveal at the end, it's kind of an odd time to want an S, since the Scorpio (just call it the Xbox One Elite already, Microsoft) is going to be the model to have. I disliked the teaser trailer for most of the games due to the soundtrack choices, but I was impressed with Sea of Thieves and the potential for some really fun multiplayer shenanigans. I like the look of Forza Horizon 3, and I think with VR it will be a fucking amazing title. The cross-play platform is also a huge plus for MS players, enabling players on PC to join multiplayer lobbies with Xbox One players.

Horizon 3 looks great, I thought it was gonna be just a forza game, or maybe like a mix of horizon and the regular one, maybe call it Forza World (I would love to see that, being able to drive to race tracks (On and off paved road) and just get ready for a race)

Sea of Thieves looked fun, though we only saw a small area of it, I would love to see if we can go to big towns, or if we can build/hire people to build our own town on the islands.

That one game (Was it recore?) Looked good.

Decent year, SE Skyrim maybe a buy if it's like 30 bucks or something. Now we wait for Sony.

Skyrim SE is currently listed at $60 for preorder through third party sites (Amazon is well known for this since they have price drop guarantees in place), but I would guess that the actual price will be closer to $40.

All my money is gong for Battlefield 1, that looked good, just gonna wait until Beta comes out to see if it's a buy, if it feels like Hardline then I guess shooters will take a rest for awhile and something else will take it's place, maybe Horizon 3 (Which I think will probably go down in price during black friday)

Reminder that if you have Prime, Amazon cuts 20% retail on games, as well.

For pre-orders, anyway.

Hope that counts towards the eventual price drop it will automatically receive from the publisher. There is no way it will actually be $60.

Posted by: Seri Jun 13 2016, 02:44 PM
Yeah, it's 20% off whatever the final price is.

Sony really blew the roof off for this year's E3. Best Conference of the year XD

I kidna knew it couldn't be, but disappointing nonetheless. Silent Hills when?

Posted by: BOZZ Jun 13 2016, 07:27 PM
I hadn't read anything about the E3 stuff until just now, pretty stoked for Kojima's game, that new Ubisoft title For Honor, Insomniac FREAKING Games doing a SPIDERMAN game (perfect fit IMHO) and the Crash Bandicoot remasters.

Probably never unless Konami comes out with a Silent Hill pachinko machine.

Well, the new Zelda game will be released on the Wii U and the NX, where the NX will probably released at the same time. Looks like it will be the last game from Nintendo on the Wii U. I don't think many people will get it for the Wii U when they can play it in better graphics on the NX. It's a similar situation when the Wii was released.
Not even one year remains until the NX release and I still have some games I want to play on my recently bought Wii U. Not that I'm going to buy it on the release date already...

I think MS had the most ninja-esque bomb drop of the bunch. The key is in the new controller. They're already talking with other platforms to make the new controller, which has bluetooth, compatible in order to support streaming from the console. Think about playing your games on something besides a television. Phone? Done. Tablet? Yep. Macbook? Sure. By extending Xbox Live into multiplatform, they're taking up a much larger space for players to mingle and play together.

I'm still trying to figure out what PS dropped during their conference, nobody posted it on their sites or statuses, not even youtube had a live one of it. dry.gif

Only thing mentioned was call of duty, being in space again.

Go home, you're drunk.

Sony's big drop was the Kojima project.

Posted by: The Sixth Element Jun 14 2016, 07:04 PM
Its confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is Nintendo's take on MGSV: The Phantom Pain

(I kinda predicted this from the footage of Miyamoto playing the game from the Nintendo Direct of LoZ before this year's E3)

So, bullshit incomplete story with missions that repeat themselves halfway through the game?

Posted by: APX Jun 14 2016, 10:42 PM
From a video I saw about sony, they sorta didn't really do much, didn't give no 'neo' preview, just games, that's about it.

But after seeing some videos of Battlefield 1, it looks so sexy. Granted the armor/vehicle stuff was a bit OP and the driver (From whatI understood him) gets switched to a engineer kit or something, and that only engineers can control the vehicles or something. I need to watch it again because it was a bit confusing from him.

Either way, i'll see what they offer to us new in the beta.

ALSO, Halo WArs 2 Beta is pretty good, sorta made me remember of the first one, but if I keep playing it more i'll get used to it. First and only game I started we won because we capped control points. lol

Then we should have Silent Hills then. laugh2.gif crying2.gif

I'm just curious to see what emerges from Kojima's mind when he's not shackled to Konami.

I liked the Sony conference overall. Glad to see Last Guardian have an October release. I was alittle disappointed to not get anymore FF7 Remake footage.

I didn't know what to really think of Resident Evil 7. It looked like Capcom was completely ripping off P.T., and Saw. Granted, it looks like there will be some old school RE puzzles in the game.

Battlefield 1 has also peeked my interest now.
