Buy some Konig Rewinds. Nobody will know the difference nor care. |

It's like I'm really playing NFS Underground 2 again! |

Rota Rbs or Rota RB-Rs are a nice alternative as well, fwiw. Im running a set of the rbrs on my z and love em Image size reduced, original size: 3264 x 2448. http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k147/SidewaysGts1/DSC_0397_zpsb5797ebf.jpg~original to view the image in its original dimension. |

+1 Rotas are fine on the street, but if you touge frequently I'd go w/the Konig's btw |

Dare I ask why, without delving into illegal activity discussion? |
Posted by: Wufei Jul 16 2014, 12:45 PM | ||
Nothing illegal at all Rota's are cheap because they use the cheapest manufacturing method (gravity casting) instead of forged (BBS, Volks, etc.). Konig actually uses Enkei's MAT (Most Advanced Technology ) on some of their wheels http://konigusa.net/nodisplay/mat-technology-wheel-process/. It's also called flow-forming, a compromise between gravity casting & forging in both strength & cost. Though to be fair, I'm not sure if the Konig Rewind is made using MAT technology...lol |

I applaud you for coming through on this. You have impressed me. |

Never knew a lot about rims but... interesting. I can now say I learned something new today |

Cast wheels really just don't have the strength for the track, period. I've seen tons of wheels bent by curbing that shouldn't have had any issues. Monoblock for life. |

Thanks Tessou! This IS the technical section right? You'll like what we're doing at http://www.ProjectHyperion.co & http://fb.com/LSLMotorsports!
With ya there! Flow-formed wheels aren't bad either for those that don't want to shell out $$$ for Volks/BBSs. |

Awesome Wufei. Definitely got me into looking in-depth on more quality wheels than mentioned above. |

Track time? Meme images? AGREES WITH ME? I like this guy already! Yeah, Volks are a pretty penny, even being the third owner of my CE28N-TAs, I still paid more than any other set of new wheels I had my eye on. Totally worth it though. |
