I totally agree with both DarkSkyed and Lebon ! Mari-san is one on the very few female Eurobeat vocalists that has a really unique sounding voice. The first time (and still) I was blown away by her voice, which adds so much extra spice and depth to the Eurobeat genre. It's always nice hearing something new, and she managed to do that with Secret Destination. But tastes differ, beat freak -(luckily)- and I understand you may find her songs horrible. I'm a pure Mari-san lover though.  That said, time for the samples, although I usually don't base my opinion about songs on samples. Oh well, here goes. Green = pure win Orange = really great Blue = good/decent Gray = mediocore Purple = could have easily been left off the album Red = horrible 01. Dave Rodgers feat. Alex De Rosso - BURNING LIKE FIRE One of those tracks I'll have to wait for the full song to make a proper opinion. It's quite 50/50 now. Half of me wants to hear more, the other half is rather bored.  02. Project 2 - ULTRA MI-HA DELUXE Vocally a good combination. Could use a little extra bit of flavour and speed in my opinion. 03. David Dima - KING OF THE WORLD  No doubt, for me this is the best sample ! Again, Dima proves to be the current King of Eurobeat.  A song with plenty of energy, you can already feel that now, and the only one that had me sing along spontaniously. Let's wait for the full version to see if this manages to surpass the epicness of SAVE A PRAYER and FEVER OF LOVE.04. Derreck Simons - STOP CITY LOVER So Derreck is now performing under the wings of GGM, adn it's sounding good ! 05. Gold-Rake - HURRICANE MAN Just like Dima's track, this one is worthy of being on a 'Speed' themed album. One of my favorites from the samples. I'm especially looking forward to hearing the synth properly. 06. De Leo - SAVE ANOTHER DAY FOR ME This has indeed a little ONE TOUCH feel, but not to say all that strikingly much (unlike LOVE IS A PRETENDER and FROM HEARTACHE TO HEAVEN). Besides, though it certainly sounds nice, there's no way this will be able to top ONE TOUCH ! 07. Mari-San - DON'T BELONG Unlike beat freak, I'm really hyped about this song. Currently it's with all rights my number 2 favourite of the samples, but the full track might even make it hop over KING OF THE WORLD. Just like SECRET DESTINATION, DON'T BELONG could easily be a success among the European club audience, since it's again a bit of a cross-breed. And it's great to hear Mari-san's Anastacia flavoured voice back in all its glory. Truly SUPERB !  08. Mad Max - ROCK YOU I'll be carefull about what I'll say. Again, I'm having mixed feelings. It sounds as one hell of a kick-ass song, but I can't put asside that "Another one of those" feeling I have. I'll wait for the full version to, maybe, turn that blue colour into orange. 09. Fastway - MONSTERS READY Actually I should repeat what I said for Rock you, but whenever I have that feeling about a Fastway track it's a sign that we're going to get something great. Typical Fastway style, sounding very tasty, especially the syth ! 10. Megan - I WILL SURVIVE Again that "Another one of those" feeling, and this time it's not in a positive way. Doesn't sound bad, but I'm affraid that this won't survive my high critics level. But who knows, maybe my opinion might make a 180° turn later on (though I highly doubt it ).11. Mister Max - SHINE Sounding ok, but couldn't really convince me so far. I was hoping to get a Mister Max song along the lines of RAMBO. Sadly, looks like my hopes will remain unanswered.  12. Scream Team - KOOKY SPOOKY Scream Team tracks always make me feel good and bouncy, and this time is no exception. Fun and catchy sounding, and the synth-line has my full attention. 13. Joe Banana - WILD BOY BAD LOVE And that makes number 4 on the list of "yet another one of those". Overall a good sounding production, but there's absolutely nothing that makes it sound better or more refreshing than the other JB tracks. This'll be a non-loop'er for me, sadly. Overall this looks a good album, nicely keeping up the high quality of the 190s. Unlike with the 194, NO red markings  So yeah, I'm looking forward to my copy arriving. Well, it's maybe encoded in 320 but the source was not lossless source for sure (aka CD)  16000hz drop? It's MP3 192 lol. It was converted from either WMA 192 or AAC 192. Anyway, it's still an improvement from their 128k share... download if you're not too picky. Otherwise, wait for Per... huh... I mean SEB 195's 320k rip. P.S Encode FAIL. I mean, unnecessary MP3 320 encode FAIL. P.S2 Don't do drama over my audiophile tendencies plzkthx. oh and, it's only to show that they lie in the fact that they say it's MP3 320. All tracks on the "new generation" of SEBs are so called "Extended" because of the longer playtime since vol 187, just like back in the beginning of the SEB series. Sometimes they mention the "Extended", sometimes not.  Thankies for the upload btw ! As expected KING OF THE WORLD is hmmmm, so very very tasty | ||
