Retired old man Group: Advanced Members Posts: 3,210 Member No.: 9,983 Joined: Jul 8th 2005 Location: San Diego, California | Tokui East Coast was a team based soley in our area, with a common goal in mind. To represent the East to the best of our ability. Straying away from battle levels, auras, and the norm is the motto of this team. Though small in numbers, we are still running strong. We don't feel the need to have a million team members, rather the members we have are all committed to doing their best by using our own specialties as our strength to create a strong all around presence within the ID community. This team is dead. It was fun, but everyone that is still around seems to want to be part of something else, so no point in sticking around. Just to let you all know, we're still alive. xD EDIT: If interested in joining, pm me with your stats. I'll then see what Tomo thinks and we'll go from there. I would say to PM Tomo, but that probably wouldn't be a good idea. For now, I'll deal with the private messages. Also, Battle Levels don't mean jack to us. So don't incude those in your message. And as a personal favor to the team, I'd like to have some sort of webmaster for the team. If anyone is good with website design/layouts and good with Photoshop, feel free to send a message my way. Retired old man Group: Advanced Members Posts: 3,210 Member No.: 9,983 Joined: Jul 8th 2005 Location: San Diego, California | ok guys here's some news from the tokui front... 1.) Tokui cards may become available soon, inquire within. 2.) There will be TWO tournaments (one boost one w/o) which hopefully three of thecurrent members (two verified) will be attending on September 16th in Rochester, New York at Hammergirl Anime. We hope to have a good showing there 3.) On the Initial D Special Stage front... I've added to the number of world records held by the team... In the last day getting shomaru ob/ib/obw/ibw bringing the record total to the highest it's ever been from the US... 9 total. What will be the 10th? Will there BE a 10th??? Retired old man Group: Advanced Members Posts: 3,210 Member No.: 9,983 Joined: Jul 8th 2005 Location: San Diego, California | Ian is awesome at ID. On a side note... it seems as tho Brian has quit initial D by the last message I received from him... so we have lost a needed member... I'd like to thank him for everything he has done for the team... it really has not been overlooked- it just seems his standards were set a bit too far above himself for him to keep on pushing. Nevertheless... if Brian decides to unretire- he will always have a spot on our team, but for now- it looks like there are only 3 active members. Ian, myself, and billy. I'll keep you all posted on what happens, hopefully it only takes me a few days to fulltune my final ID card, and get some times to be f*cked with ASAP... Although it's not a miata, we have one in the works to show people the miata is a LOT better than some people represent it to be =_= BTW: Akagi HAHAHAH 2'20'XXX in 3 tries, you gotta be kidding me, low 20 on the way if I can keep my attention span up for it =_= |

IDW Goldmember Group: Advanced Members Posts: 4,294 Member No.: 13,958 Joined: Oct 22nd 2005 Location: Binghamton, New York | After the tourney on the 16th, it made me realize that the little sh*t was maybe right after all. If all that practice prior to the tourney didn't do anything, then I don't know. Maybe I just crumbled under pressure because I had something to prove, but I don't know. If I can just sit down for one day without having to worry about the "what if"of not completing something that I wanted to do (i.e finish the Buntas in Rochester/Albany or beat Tomo in a battle), then I'll be back; or if I can get the want/desire/fire back. Rather, you might be able to predict it from my past habits of greeting teams. So, what does TOKUI actually mean? XD Dogs, dogs, dogs! Surely I'm in the wrong. |
