Evasive is responsible for a lot of the install work and tune for the turbo. CounterSpace Garage set up the aero and suspension. West End performed the cornerbalance, alignment, and geometry. I drove the car. This post has been edited by psychoazn on Oct 17 2013, 03:57 PM

Fastestlaps.com is not a good reference to whether a car or driver is fast. |

But yes, in my experiences, thats a pretty damn fast lap. This post has been edited by sideways on Oct 19 2013, 06:35 PM |

Fastestlaps is for 100% stock cars. Steve Millen, in the case of WSIR, is a very, very established driver. Feel free to google him. I'm sure you're familiar with Tsuchiya and Gan San, who also have lap times on that list..

IDW Goldmember Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,110 Member No.: 22,465 Joined: Dec 17th 2006 Location: Japan | The problem isn't the driver, it's the person who uploaded the lap. I don't think there's any proof required. I think a lot of the laps with Tsuchiya et al are from Best Motoring videos. How much power does the car have? What's the weight? I'm not digging on your driving skills, it's just really hard to know what's fast just from a video/lap time on a track I've never driven. If it was Tsukuba, Sugo, Sendai Hiland, Ebisu, or Motegi I could tell. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] |

I can comment from experience from my days with Dan Cragin that the Viper times posted are VERY close (within 1-2 seconds) to anything I've ever seen our customers hit with relatively sock vipers. So if you know how fast a viper is, that might give you some idea to ballpark it.

Well, maybe for a GT86/BRZ/FRS but we all know this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7bsFH6MOr4 Viper has the fastest time? Where is Hennessey? Wrong track buddy. That's Streets of Willow Springs, not Willow Springs International Raceway. Course if you watch the videos, you'd know they're vastly different... The current WSIR production car record is held by the FXMD NSX at 1:18.555. Car made around 850whp that day...
Specs are fairly well known, but here are the specs: 220whp (dynojet) 2850 lbs (wet, 1/2 tank gas, no driver) ZERO weight reduction in the car, but parts have been added, which is why the car is heavier than stock. The stock quoted 2770 lbs is with a full tank of gas (~13 gallons). This post has been edited by psychoazn on Oct 22 2013, 09:02 AM
