I'm running Iro down with an FC (as usual) but for some reason I seem to be missing something and doing something horribly wrong. I keep getting passed right before the jumps and can't seem to keep up after that point. Can anyone give me some tips on this/driving advice with the new physics system? |

So IDAS4 is a lot more reliant on how upgraded your car is?

Just tap the brakes for each turn and just let your car scrape the inside wall and slide around the turn. This post has been edited by icedagger on Nov 25 2008, 03:40 PM |

well, for the longest time I was stuck on the blue S2k on Tsukaba when my car was near bone stock. I made short work of Takumi and the others.

Maybe you can ram his nose into a gutter or something after the jumps? I couldnt tell what was happening between the leaves and the blue blur that was his car, but it went SOMETHING like that. |

#1. irohazaka has no gutters (i hope) #2. you can only block A.I from in front, but you can't "slam" them they'll just more or less "slide" through, leaving you to ram the wall

I think I saw a gutter at the start of that long winding trail at the end. Somewhere on the Inner line. (It was segmented blocks of gray that didnt look like road or railing.) By slam I mean having my rear swing out and bash their nose into the wall. I'm just assuming how that one went though. Like i said, blurry.

Trying to knock them off their path would be futile. They'd just push you out of the way. And regarding gutters, there are gutters everywhere, but only the ones on Akina and Tsukuba have a noticeable effect. |

When I got to the machine I forgot to insert my card and being pissed I went to IRO and used a stock sil eighty since thats the car I use, but I beat him. I don't remember my time but when I got to the jumps I popped it in second after the 3rd jump to finish popped it back into 3rd gear doing 94kmh exiting. Good luck all Ben |
