And which ones are giving you a problem so far? And this is always available for people to add a updated post on the consoles they own or get in the next coming months. |

I did hold a PS4 controller the other day and found it to be a nice jump up from the PS3s now 15 year old design. Liked the change Sony made to the analog sticks. Can't compare to the Xbox controller yet. This post has been edited by RalliKai on Nov 22 2013, 05:15 PM |

Trust me, I'm a doctor. Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,186 Member No.: 1,277 Joined: Feb 14th 2004 Location: Bay City, MI | I tend to avoid launch consoles. The people that buy them are pretty much beta testers. I'll wait a year or two for the inevitable slim model or 1TB model. |

Because the PC isn't a next-gen console, it's not even in the same league. This is more for figuring out who gets the 2nd place ribbon. As for relevant content, I'll be sure to post after I get my PS4 and my mate gets his Xbone. Should be a fun weekend. This post has been edited by SgtXDNX on Nov 22 2013, 07:59 PM

^This. Especially for the inevitable HDD update. The PS2 was the last console that I could say I was excited for at launch. Unless The Last Guardian is finally confirmed for PS4, there isn't much that intrigues me yet.

Yeah, sure, I may get something DOA, but when has MS eve NOT stood behind a product of theirs? Never. And oh no, if I buy it and can't use it right away, zero fucks, I'm still playing BF4 on PC right now in my free time anyway. |

That guy from Belgium Group: Advanced Members Posts: 541 Member No.: 24,995 Joined: Jun 24th 2007 Location: Someplace you are not | Xbox 1 doesn't launch in Belgium, for now. Some time in 2014 they say... PS4 launches next week over here, there have been a couple of Demo stands around some shops I've been to and overal, It's ok. I'm not hopping on the next-gen train now, hell I didn't even buy a PS3 untill the slim version, and a 360 came around last year into my home. And that 360 is now catching dust... I'll pick up a PS4 in a year or so, when there's a price drop or a slim version |

>I play BF4 on PC! >Yeah I'm getting an Xbone, I can't wait to BF4 it up! Yet more proof that PC deserves to be a poll option...and that 'next-gen' consoles are silly. PC gaming master race. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

Rushed. Xbox One, refer to PS3 launch. Both are too focused on social media and cloud computing for my liking. I do like the mmorpg ability of both consoles though. Conclusion, don't like either, won't buy either, I'll spend my money on new suspension thank you very much. But if I had to endorse, One has the lead by a hair. EDIT: How the hell do you release a product that can't even sit still? [ Post made via Mobile Device ] This post has been edited by Wanderer on Nov 23 2013, 02:12 PM |

Except that the 'next-gen' consoles are a step backwards. They're just returning to what PCs have been since 1985. There's no special proprietary chip. There's no crazy targeted render pipeline. There's nothing special about these but software. I'm just waiting for the lovelies online to figure out the encryption dealie and just run these damn games on a PC already. That is, the ones that aren't already just PC ports.

Or finally endorse a product for once, because other than that it's just derailment. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] |

Black box, but came with a Day One controller, no complaints on my end. Forza 5 is pretty legit. But, I'm completely stuck where Don is. My PC can produce equally impressive graphics and supports 360 controllers. Main reason for picking it up was Forza. Main reason I'll pick up a PS4 is GT6. That's just how it works with me. |

Except that GT6 is a PS3 title, and with the PS4 not having native backwards compatibility, you might as well just get a PS3 if you don't already have one?

Goes to show how much I pay attention. If that's how it is, I guess it'll be cheaper for me! I don't own a PS3 by prices are

They don't want to know lots about software or hardware, and just enjoy gaming and all othe features. Only the pros use PC. |

All other factors aside, absolutely. For me, consoles are for games that don't come out on PC (Forza, Halo, etc), or for games that require a PC that not everyone I play games with can afford (BF4). And yes, I do own BF4 for both 360 and PC, and that 360 copy is being upgraded to an XBOne copy tomorrow.

Pretty much this, and also for when I have mates over that wanna have a gaming session. Now, I can either have multiple $1000+ PCs, or I can have a console hooked up to my TV for multiplayer and STILL have my PC available to do other stuff. Do I think that PC is unquestionably the superior platform? Of course. Do I agree that consoles don't have any place in the current generation? No way in hell.

I would say mainstream over kids although Nintendo's marketing is clearly only after kids these days.(Misses the N64 days ) I've always played both PC and console. I liked the immersion and graphical quality from PC gaming, especially as a kid, and I enjoyed the easy entertainment console gaming gave. Consoles always brought titles that weren't available on PC at the time and vice versa. Now that the gap in gaming library is so identical, with a few exceptions, I don't see so much point in investing in both. This is the first time I can honestly say I prefer one more than the other. Console gaming started to lose its magic for me during the PS2 days. Kind of a contrast from a few years prior since I thought the PS1 days brought some of the best in console experiences.
