I agree.

I also agree that there was a point to the post, and therefore it wasn't really spam, despite being an annoying way to make said point.

I mean come on, how many posts have I made with like 200 carriage returns before a retarded punchline at the bottom? More than I care to admit. They weren't spam, they were just super annoying to scroll through.
