Shmuck Group: Members Posts: 6 Member No.: 4,698 Joined: Dec 22nd 2004 Location: Update Profile | ahh, i just did the same thing a month ago or so. Same side, same area, less damage I'm waiting for the last part to come in the mail, it'll be back to normal soon. It happens pretty easily, esp. if its wet and and your driving FF, push just a little to hard and BAM, there's no saving it. good luck getting it fixed! I used ebay motors for most of my parts. |

ShiMACHaze Group: Advanced Members Posts: 19,542 Member No.: 5,394 Joined: Feb 5th 2005 Location: Drydock | I guess I shouldn't be hard on ya for this. XD; I had two similar incidents in my car, but fortunately neither resulted in damage to my vehicle, once because I braked properly in time (I don't have ABS, so...) and the other time it was because it was winter and snow is a better shock absorber than raw tree. >.> You can be sure that after such things I drive my car a little more carefully. There's nothing like understeering into something to freak the crap outta ya. (Okay, so I really didn't learn because I still practice LFB and nearly went into a field because of it, but leave me alone...) Good luck gettin' it all fixed. Hope it turns out well in the end. |
