This announcement is to notify you some of the Rules / Policies in Forum Guidelines had been changed. (04-06-2005)

---------------

• Please always remember, it's a privilege to use these forums, NOT a right.

• Please take the time to read the forums description before you start a topic. Starting new topic(s) in the wrong section may result in a verbal / actual warning.

• Use the Search function before you start a new topic. Posting a duplicated thread may earn yourself a verbal warning.

• Read the Pinned threads before starting a new topic. Posting thread(s) about question(s) already answered in Pinned threads will result in an actual warning.

• Bumping topics without any valid reason(s) is now consider spamming.

• You agree not to have more than one account at any given time. If found having more than one account, you'll be given the option to pick an account. The rest of the accounts you have in possession will be banned. Clarification: If you are banned and trying to come back in another account, you will be banned without any questions if we find out.

• (IMAGE) Max. dimension for signature is 600pixel (width) x 250pixel (height). You'll NOT be informed if your signature exceed the max. dimension mentioned above. Your signature will be completely or partially removed depending on the situation.

• (TEXT) Max. limit for signature is 12 lines. However if you use some large size font, the maximum limit will varied and will be judged by our moderators. If a moderator think your signature is too big, your signature will be completely or partially removed without notice.

Clarification: If your avatar / signature exceeds the max. limit, it will be removed without any notice.

We understand that a lot of people have signatures which are greater 250pixel in height, so the 600x250 signature dimension limit rule will not be in effect immediately. You have one (1) week to change / adjust your current signature to comply with the new policies. However, after April 14th, 2005, your signature will be removed if it still does not abide by the new limit. It is possible that a verbal warning or an actual warning to be issued if you violate the avatar / signature rules too many times.

All other new rules / policies are in effect immediately.

When changing an avatar, it says your avatar must be a maximum of 100 x 100px and 30kb. Is it possible for you to change the text on that Control Panel page so users can be reminded of the up-to-date rule each time they change an avatar? Also, you didn't make any mention of dimension restrictions for avatars, does that mean it will continue as 100 x 100?
