So looks like the BBC has finally confirmed who will be hosting the new Top Gear series earlier today.

Joining main host Chris Evans (the BBC radio show personality), The Stig and former Friends' star Matt LeBlanc are Eddie Jordan, Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz and Rory Reid.

Eddie Jordan, who was also rumored to be making an appearance. He joins from the BBC’s Formula 1 team.

Chris Harris, who hosts a popular YouTube motoring programme, and was photographed in a pub with Evans recently, somewhat giving the game away.

Sabine Schmitz, a kick-ass German racing driver who can drive a van around the Nurburgring very, very fast.

Rory Reid from Recombu Cars.

IMO, its not Top Gear. The original hosts were Top Gear and now they have left. I'd like to see how much its gonna be different though.

Posted by: APX Feb 11 2016, 03:24 PM
It's sad that they need to bring a shit load of presenters to (and you know it's true) fill in what 3 + the stig did for so many years.

Cool, we get a few more racers and chris (Who from a previous post on social media, was throwing up on the side of a race track due to the girls driving I think)

I really wanna see how The trios show comes out, it's been real quiet over there for them, must be plotting a rape on top gear.

Amazon is gonna get so much people subscribing to their prime membership just to watch them. Its gonna be hilarious and like the old Top Gear that everyone misses.

Posted by: Tessou Feb 12 2016, 02:09 AM
Can't hate it until we see it. I think LeBlanc could keep it steady, considering he was one of the better guests.

Car shows serve but one purpose... to entertain to get people to buy a fscking car.

That being said, this is what a certain car company that makes amazing motorcycles should do before thinking of sending their next prototype to Top Gear/Clarkson/Amazon/Leno/YouTube/etcetera, etcetera:

1. Replicate this...... and do not, I repeat DO NOT for the love of JESUS TITTY FUCKING CHRIST HONDA change a single thing about this car:

We love you Japanese car company Numero Ichi-ban... ^_~✧

I am sure Matt LeBlanc will attract many fans of the show "Friends" that were not interested in cars at all.

Posted by: APX Aug 22 2016, 11:11 AM
After one season, Chris Evans quits from the show.

LeBlanc MIGHT return for the next season but as he says 'it's up to BBC'

Though James Martin is looking like he'll land the presenter job for next season.

Talk about a shit storm. awesome.gif

Posted by: Tessou Aug 22 2016, 02:30 PM
Chris Evans sucked. Plain and simple.

Matt was cool but you could tell he was not happy.

Posted by: APX Aug 22 2016, 02:33 PM
Sucked big time.

Even though the previous guests had planned stuff, the first episode of the new season just didn't fit well with me (When they got the 3 wheel cars, you can tell the breaking down was just so boringly planned out to make it 'interesting)

Now it's time to see how the Trio handles their new program. biggrin.gif

There was that rumor that 50cent wanted to replace Chris Evans or something.
I would've liked to see that.

Seriously, I would've really wanted to see that, the guy has a sense of humor.

Posted by: APX Aug 22 2016, 04:23 PM
But he's not really a car guy.

Unless he went bankrupt on cars.

Posted by: BOZZ Aug 22 2016, 05:28 PM
I haven't seen much of the first season of the new Top Gear, but for the most part, Chris Evans wasn't really a good fit for this ensemble cast. I just wish they had put Chris Harris and the other guy who did the after show more often on the main show.

Posted by: The Sixth Element Aug 22 2016, 07:34 PM
Chris Evans did not fit with the cast. I thought the Top Gear journalist group were decent and could actually be the 3 co hosts to lead the show.

Posted by: Tessou Aug 22 2016, 07:44 PM
Just bring in Bill Goldberg and Adam Carolla already.

Give me Harris, Reid, and LeBlanc and call it a day.

Probably won't happen, they need more star power over there in th e UK.

I'm calling Gordon Ramsey.

David Tennant, just to pull in the fangirl audience.

The guy is way too busy with his passions to ever consider it. Though i'd watch the shit out of it.

Call up Rowan Atkinson. He likes automobiles and Mr.Bean would be good as explaining car stuff like The Stig.

T-T-T-Toy...!!?

That, my good sir, is a cheap-man's Dragunov SVD. It may not have all the bells & whistles of a 007 Pagani Zonda, a Black UFO Grendizer 911-Turbo, or a Super Mario 488 GTB ... but holy-mother-o'focké that little assassin's pistol can & will slice your head on a residential before you can say Porsche Oil Changeー

That got off-topic quick... Let's keep this to Top Gear, shall we?

Have you guys heard about the stuff that The Grand Tour has had to do appease the BBC's lawyers with regards to Top Gear? Some of it's pretty silly, like when they visited some place in Africa for filming for The Grand Tour, the BBC's lawyers told them they couldn't say the scenery was beautiful because they found a previous recording they did on Top Gear in Africa where they said the scenery was beautiful.

BBC is just salty as fuck right now, trying their best to either break the team into maybe coming back or to get some money any way they can in the filing/lawsuits against them.

All I can say is it's pretty pathetic.

Yeah, either way they're probably going to get hosed, I've got a feeling that The Grand Tour will be a far bigger success than Top Gear has been with this new series and hosts.

It's gotta be brexit ~ derp.gif

I wouldn't mind a free YouTube Top Gear. 'sides I've always watched Clarkson through FinalGear glasses ~ the BBC can executively-produce the new show ie. put up the dosh ... and let the original staff & YT do the rest. They can sell the BD's on Amazon if they want & recoup the cash if the show's actually any good. awesome.gif $$
