Thanks Turbo_Levin! I try my best to make my models look good.. hehehe well long way from Marco though.

Recently I have been dabbling with semi metallic paint schemes so my next one should be like that. Using flat colours has really taught me a thing or two. I'm much more daring to explore now! I want to be able to display my gundams having individual paint schemes and styles!

A strong candidate for the next kit I am going to purchase is probably going to be either the MG OYW Gundam (Original colour version) or the MG Extreme Burst Destiny

Maximum Detailing there Marco!!!!
I like the chassis and engine construction best!!!
Overall... excellent work... together with the photography you made, the car looks so real... i like those rims... reminds me of the AE86 rims for its GT-APEX 1985 (or 86 maybe) model.  w00t2.gif

No, just, no.

A friend of mine is submitting this for a upcoming Gunpla competition here in Singapore. BTW it's his first time doing a Gunpla kit, though he has had plenty of experience doing Battletech miniatures...

Nope. My fren doesnt have a airbrush, and he's very fanatical about not using decals and stickers. Everything u see is hand-painted. Took about 2 weeks of continuous work...

Just an amazing work! The way he blens and does color gradients is amazing! And the carefull highlight of every scale!! Mind blowing!!!
Can you ask him a question? What type of paint does he use? Enamel? Acrylics? Both?
I ask you this because I have a hard time trying to make gradients and I can show you my best try using acrylics

user posted image

I tryed to do a nice gradient on the head piece, but what I got din't pleased me!
I wish him the best of luck for the contest!

Here are some photos of the model I'm currently working on. It's WWII armor, a Stug III Ausf. F/8 that will receive a very intricate camuflage scheme (a first for me, so lets see how it will turn out).

Checked with him (it isnt easy to call him from Singapore to Down Under, leaving me to wait for the occasional phone call from him), and according to him, he used water-based acrylic paint.

Marco, nice job on the mr2 sw20!
can anyone give me an overview of any of the fujimi initial d model kits?
I really want a mr2 model and i especially want the Kai edition mr2
I looked over the models over in 1999.co.jp and it seems like the sw20 mold is
pretty consistant and detailed so it is pretty likely that fujimi wouldn't
screw people over with the simplifications(like the ae86). unless they used the old
molds from the touge edition cars... that would soooo suck
2 months ago i bought the touge edition drift king 86 and was shafted
It was so lame, no side skirt, rides too low, parts don't fit and so i gave it to a friend who loves the 86, said he probably able to fix it up.
well, i just want to research a little about the fujimi kai sw20 before i buy it.

nearly every child of the 80s would have considered this as their dream car once upon a time! The original Batman/ Batman Returns Batmobile!

This one was pretty fun to make... I made it a bit different this time though used a semi gloss paint and had some internal mechanisms, cockpit parts, belly and jet engine done in metallic gunmetal

Hey all, I got a couple new models for Christmas as well as my birthday. I haven't posted all of my other models, but I figured I'd at least share my new projects. Here's what I gt for Christmas:
user posted image
Heh, I think this one's gonna be really fun to put together. This one's from Tamiya, a company I've never really bught models from before. I hope it goes together smoothly. It's gonna be the V-Spec II Nur model I'm going for in tribute to Godfoot. I couldn't really find the exact color for Godfoot's R34 so I'm gonna try and use the lightest green I could find: Model Master brand acrylic in green zinc chromate. It's not quite that funky pale green-yellow color from the anime but I hope it turns out kinda close. Also it seems it doesn't have the same rims from the anime so I'm gonna stick to using the aluminum-colored 6-spoke rims it comes with. I'm also gonna try to go for as much detail as I can this time so I'm going to sand it and brush paint it. Last time I used a paint marker and it turned out uneven and splotchy. :/

And here's my birthday present:
user posted image
A 2004 Kei Office S15 Silvia from Aoshima. :3 I really liked their FC and FD models so I figured I'd get another one from the same brand. I was originally going to go for the Two Guys from Tokyo style but I figured I could at least do another color than black. I'm open to suggestions as to what color to make it. I might even mix up paints for custom colors, but I don't know how well flat colors mix with gloss ones as well as acrylic versus enamel. :/
