IDW Full Member Group: Members Posts: 33 Member No.: 1,532 Joined: Mar 28th 2004 Location: Update Profile | I know i'm gonna get screwed for this topic so pls help me b4 u flame me out i juz got a trueno and is currently practising akina the only problem is i dunno how to go fast in the middle section where there are high speed corners. I juz kept banging the walls. Any tips? |

IDW Goldmember Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,477 Member No.: 2,836 Joined: Aug 27th 2004 Location: Penang, Malaysia | learn the basics like breaking . its better to break than to hit walls coz when u hit a wall u tend to have engine lag which is when you find hard to accelerate. most of the corners can be taken at 4th gear but learn how to break . learn the shift points too. if ur wondering, shift points are the point when you shift gears to get better acceleration. there's a thread by d0ob0o regarding shift points .dont worry, with the trueno, you'll get along with akina just fine . hope this helps. |

>_> Group: Advanced Members Posts: 7,421 Member No.: 1,958 Joined: Jun 4th 2004 Location: California | xibal, your skyline isn't as bad as the 4WD skylines, and on akina, brake alot, if you don't brake enough you'll hit a wall and get engine lag, the trueno is a very unforgiving car.... brake as hard as needed to clear a turn withough hitting a wall, if you don't hit a wall, your acel will be much much better |

oh i think i know what you're talking about.... you just gotta let off the gas slightly before that part that curves in sharply and turn earlier at the same time. | ||

yes, that's exactly it, i perform better on other courses with the 86, i got the 86 specifically to learn akina...i still need to practice on those 4 consecs and RHOD, then i'll learn 5-4 and get fast | ||
