I (and probably many others) have just discovered that Avex Trax has been releasing extended versions of tracks from SEB 64 onwards. As indicated in the title, they are all from Time Records and Delta/Sinclairestyle, and these releases take the form of two separate EPs: a "DELTA EDITION" for Delta/Sinclairestyle and a "TIME EDITION" for, well, Time.

These albums are sold on mora.jp, by the way. You'd have to follow this guide (working as of April 2020) if you want to grab 'em.

To prove that they're real, I'll go ahead and provide the links along with their cover artwork.

SEB Volumes 66 and 70 were not included because they are nonstop megamix albums.

I will update with more links in future posts.

EDIT: Volumes 64-67 and 69 are now labeled as previously extended. This post was edited to reflect this.

Not new extends really. They released extends for the whole albums in 2007-2008.

https://mora.jp/package/43000002/AVCD-10069/ etc.

No, I don't know why they are re-releasing stuff from over 10 years ago.

I wonder, when will Avex release an extended euromach? That would make much more sense.

It sounds dumb, but from what I read, Time and Delta/Sinclairestyle gave Avex permission to reissue the tracks from Vol. 64 onwards on digital storefronts like Mora.jp (again). I dunno why Avex would reissue previously released extendeds (like you pointed out), but what I just said may be based on pure speculation.

As you pointed out, they did wind up reissuing Vol. 64-67 and 69-74 as extendeds in 2007 (sans the megamix albums) but for some reason they were reissued as their original "radio edit" versions in 2016, which is confusing. 68 and 75 onwards were never given proper "extended" releases until now (sans the A-Beat C tracks), though some tracks from 61-90 did get extended mixes on first presses of SEB Volumes 91-99 (on the second disc in all cases), and several Delta/Sinclairestyle tracks did get extended versions on their labels' respective compilation albums (Eurobeat Masters or Delta Ultimate Collection for Delta, Bratt Sinclaire Eurobeat Style for Sinclairestyle).

(EDIT: Upon further research I found out that SEB 95, 97 and 99 WERE reissued as extendeds in 2008 and then as "radio edits" on mora in 2016. The 2004 "extended" release of SEB 94 consisted of only one single track - "MASTER BLASTER [T.Y.M.-B Edit]" / MAIO & CO.)

I'll edit the first post to reflect this.

I honestly don't know. We'll have to wait and see what Avex does. However, it is worth pointing out that a few of Time's EUROMACH tracks (e.g. "LOVE TRAIN" / SUSAN KEY and "YOU SHOT ME DOWN" / SYMBOL) were released on the digital extended edition of BEST OF EUROMACH 100, and that Delta and Sinclairestyle's songs were reissued in extended form on Eurobeat Masters/Delta Ultimate Collection (again, for Delta) and Bratt Sinclaire Eurobeat Style (again, for Sinclairestyle).

In the meantime, I've got more SEB EXTENDED VERSION albums to showcase for you.

Bumping in time for my birthday, which is today (at the time I'm typing this).

And now, though, three Rodgers & Contini extendeds:

It looks like it was excluded due to that track being on Vol. 96. At some point Avex might release an album containing tracks that were only ever featured on megamix compilations and not proper SEB albums. Heck, they haven't yet released any full versions of any Time tracks from the EUROBEAT FLASH megamix albums.

Anyways, SEB Volumes 84-99 have now received their respective Rodgers & Contini extendeds.

(Somehow they wound up using the 4:02 edit of "PLAY WITH THE NUMBERS" / DOMINO instead of the 4:52 version found on one of the DOMINO SPECIAL COLLECTION albums.)

Yeesh, Rodgers & Contini loved their "extended" versions of their tracks being just 4:00 in length, especially on SEB Volumes 91-99.

One more thing: If you don't want to use mora.jp, you can look for these albums on iTunes Japan/Apple Music Japan. I shoulda mentioned this at the beginning of the thread but oh well.

Great stuff here! Keep up the amazing work here! smile.gif Also I noticed that in vol 98 Dave, Domino & Virginelle - Anniversary (Extended Mix) is 4:07 eventhough there is vinyl Extended that is around 6:26.

I noticed that in vol 98 Dave, Domino & Virginelle - Anniversary (Extended Mix) is 4:07 eventhough there is vinyl Extended that is around 6:26.

I look at the Discogs entry for at least one of the vinyl copies of "ANNIVERSARY" / DAVE, DOMINO & VIRGINELLE and... it's 3:40. facepalm.gif

Why did Rodgers & Contini have to make their tracks so short even on vinyl...

The 6:26 version may have been on that one promo vinyl (I'm going off discogs, again) that also had DOMINO / "KILL THE SILENCE" and MICHELLE / "HOLY NIGHT". I can't verify since the track times are not listed on the label and I don't have the vinyl. Even so, it looks as though the ACTUAL 6:26 extended version hasn't received a proper digital release.

Like I pointed out in a previous post, somehow DOMINO / "PLAY WITH THE NUMBERS" received the same treatment even though a 4:54 extended version can be found on SUPER EUROBEAT presents DOMINO SPECIAL COLLECTION Vol.2.
