i think when you bore out your engine, you're increasing the displacement of the engine by making the cylinders larger. | ||

IDASv3 > IDAS4 Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,862 Member No.: 2,853 Joined: Aug 28th 2004 Location: San Diego, CA | the 6-gear miata will beat anything off the line, as it has the #1 fastest startup. after that though, its a terrible car. it understeers, but worse, is that its tail swings wide A LOT, hitting the edge of most tight corners. its also slow in terms of acceleration and top speed. i have a red a-tune NB8C at battle level 8 dont have any personal experience with the 5-gear, but my friend has one, and he says its good on happo, but thats about it. |

Startup is awsome. To use this car you need to do that Kamikaze driving style - brake less. Really fun car to drive and since it sucks on the rankings I love when I beat ppl with it. Well Xibal torque is much better in the lower RPMs like startup, that is when torque is good. However in the high RPMs Horse power is better. |

This car is small and has a really small turning radius so you can brake less. But its not something that can be a great factor in a battle. |

Increasing each with increase the size of your engine but have a different effect on the power output type. eg, low end or high end power. High bore is good for low end throttle responce. ps. I dont think the bore is increaseing to 1800cc lol. that is a measurement of volume. that is the total displacement once the bore is increased.
