And wen u say the last fastest lap after the 5th car bounce, is that the same lap as the car bounce or the fastest u can do?

AFAIK, this isnt a time attack. Just note what the total time is when the 5th car that jumps lands.

blink.gif I seriously think that the trip to the North Pole finally did mess up his wits. he wants us to ram other cars up into air in the legendary corkscrew that has maimed even professional drivers?

okay, that's it, where's my MP-5? I'm going to make him dance until he changes this idiotic challenge into bit more reasonable direction..

Same here, im almost thinking about just skiping this challenge, its not in the spirit of Top gear if you ask me

Don't ask from me. *looks at the manager rather accusingly* If he doesn't come out from that armoured bunghole of his, I'll call RAF and tell them that there's one armoured, moving practice target at TG studios.

Alright, I'll give this a shot tomorrow. pinch2.gif *already hears how the metal gives in* I'm sorry, baby-zilla.. sad.gif

Well, Stiggy, I gave the Top Gear management a harsh lecture about it, and they said they will not do it again. So yeah, don't expect to see this again in the near future. tongue.gif

James May: I must say, that's quite some crazy and impossible theories when doing this challenge, eh? And Hammond, looks like I still may have a stronger impact, sending my first two victims higher than yours. tongue.gif Ramming the AI at a sharp decline of the track makes them fly even further. The problem is, there's this one invincible vehicle I've been trying to make it fly, but unable to do so; The Chevy Silverado.

If you hadnt of hid behind that F-150, you would of flew, but alas that F-150 took alot out of the Lancer's initial hit sad.gif

Silverado's are heavy beasts, twice the F-150 I think. Lightweights like our cars prove powerless to it. pinch2.gif

Managed to get a sneak peek of the third challenge, and... it's HARD. From what I know, it's difficulty 10, and almost impossible to actually get a good ranking. Still not decided on the location, but this may bring out, or maybe the toughest Top Gear challenge just yet. De La Sarthe II, or Seattle Circuit, or Grand Speedway

I take rules will b the same as the first challenge, or u gonna allow us to do something to the car?

Technical track should b good - it should allow us to keep up with the fast guys (few long straits!)

Top Gear Management: It seems that James May seemed to have leaked information to the participants, and hence forth, has been sent to do some cleaning chores, with a toothbrush. No further news will be given until the stipulated time to be revealed. That old Captain Slow.

James May: Oh cock. *Aiming the toothbrush at the Top Gear Management* I'll have Jeremy Clarkson drive over your lawn one day with his 4X4. Or Hammond with his tractor. Or maybe not. Just right click and use the "select all" feature. I've managed to hide the possible tracks for the 3rd challenge. One of my posts has the list.

If its level 10 a Oil change is manditory, there's really no way any of the lower-powered cars having a chance without one unless the course is very technical

I may just have the best chance of victory in the next challenge

QUOTE (outlaw-2 @ Yesterday at 10:11 AM)
That will all be tabulated at the end of the challenges.

Looks like Big Stig is still lost, not able to find a car that can fit in. And.. he's late, to the point the second challenge has arrived! As such, MattSAF will have a three days buffer chance to catch up before I declare him out of the competition.

2nd Challenge

In this challenge, you are to go to Laguna Seca with your cars. Enter Track Meet mode and complete a lap, just to get the stopwatch going. From there, you are to make at least 5 cars, not including yours, flying into the air. That is right, make the other cars in the track fly into the air. The one with the fastest time wins this challenge. Post up pics, if possible as proof that you have done it. A hint to where it is possible to make the cars fly; the section before the corkscrew. Don't be surprised if you... well... find a heavier car than yours go flying into the air. Take the final time after the last, fifth flying car lands. Good luck.

James May: You're kidding me, right? I wonder how the others are reacting right now.

Big Stig: Sorry guys, I'm actually on vacation right now, and internet usage is EXTREMELY limited. I have my challenger though.

Classified AD:

Make: TOYOTA

Model: MR2 GTS

Year: 1997.

Engine: 2.0l I4 Turbo.

Super Red, 37,950 miles on the clock, runs great. Havng children, need to get rid of quickly. $9,720 (Yes, there actully is one, I have tried to find it again, but, to no avail so far. The value in the garage is $2,373.)

"Wow!" I thought, this should be a steal! I mean, 240bhp from the factory, MR, and two seater! I quickly pickedit up, and headed over to the Beginner Course, to test it out.
user posted image

Had some fun, as you can see!

Then, off to the dyno, where it came up with 221bhp, and 202.3 ft. lbs of torque.

After that, I wenton a 1/4 mile run, which yielded a 14.597 second pass. The top speed is a drag-limited 158.90mph.

Now, off to El Capitan!

The competition is as follows:

SUBARU Impreza STi (IV) '97
NISSAN Skyline GT-R V-Spec N1 '99 (R34)
SUBARU Impreza STi (V) '98
NISSAN Skyline V-spec '96 (R33)
FPV F6 Typhoon '04

Finish place: 1
Best Lap: 2'03.137 (Test laps were faster, at 2'02.697)
Total Time: 4'19.932

Second challenge results should be up on Monday for me, as the internet at home is being fixed Monday morning, and my mom isn't always letting me use her PC.

Noted. The 2nd challenge will go on till Tuesday, where the 3rd challenge will be unveiled. This will be the best time for participants who wants to join in, and make a hash out of it from the 1st to 2nd challenge.

You're not the one having the problem. My both front suspension and stabilisers are going to pop. It creaks almost every single bump, and when in cornering, it makes a horrendous wrenching sound, the type where you could feel your heart wringing, telling the car to go on. Don't worry, something special will come up next. Just wait till Tuesday, or when MattSAF posts his results of no.2

Oh come on, Kurei, Fin-Toy, just get the 2nd challenge over and done with. I'm trying to be different from the other challenges. VTiRoj hasn't complained about the problems in his Evo I. Realmdrifter has some suspension problems, and I have the most problems. The RX-7 now feels fidgety. tongue.gif

I didn't use a thumbdrive at all. I was using a cheap 1GB MP4 player (It's those S1 MP3/4 players that came from China. Just don't update the firmware like I did. The colours are all funny with the MP4's 1.8 inch screen when I updated the firmware.) to store the GT4 pics. Works fine and it doesn't have any problem to it as well.
