EDIT: Review: I like how the car corners and the braking. It turns real good for it's weight, but because of the tires, it performs this good. I didn't really like how the tire's responsed, maybe because it doesn't have an LSD. I also didn't like how you have to decelerate in small turns, but it's a good highspeed cornering car. I rate it 6/10 This post has been edited by WRX on Feb 11 2007, 02:39 PM |

Oh Dear. But on this you think, Ma W0rd! (D1s c4r 15 1yk3 0wnag3)" This is a excellent GT-R, the brakes are superb, it accels like a mutha', and turns on a dime with correct entry, the wing must play a huge part in its griping ability, along with the racing tires, and your right, the setup does seem a little wacky at first, but it gets results, barely 2 secs off Keiichi's Tsu record with that red NSX Im guessing you didn't include the LSD since rumor has it that eliminates any feeling of the Attesa system in GT4 But still, its like the thing rides on rails, a great GT-R, 9/10 This post has been edited by Kurei on Feb 11 2007, 04:03 PM |

IDW Banned Member Group: Banned Posts: 2,975 Member No.: 14,568 Joined: Nov 24th 2005 Location: Varkaus, Finland | thanks for the feedback. this setup doesn't suit all, but obviously Kurei's drivingstyle is close to mine. and WRX, when saying that this setup doesn't amuse you, you mean that there's lack of powerslides, eh? Kurei, it isn't only rumour. I've tried it out myself.. oh, I do have FR's, plenty of them actually. I'll put one up when I get back from work. maybe then WRX will have a chance to satisfy his lust for powerslides. Edit: Say hello to the first fun-to-drive car in the world! "guess who taught everything to God Hand?" Lotus Elan MFT '62 Power: 210bhp Torque: 263nm Racing exhaust, racing computer, S1 tyres, turbo stage 2, racing brakes, brake controller, racing suspension, FC gearbox, triple plate clutch, racing flywheel, carbon propeller shaft, weight reduction stg3, port polish, engine balancing, oil change, 1-way LSD SR: 2.5/5.0 RH: 90/95 DBS: 4/4 DBRS: 8/8 Camber: 3.0/2.0 Toe: 0/3 Stab: 3/5 BBC: 5/3 AIDS: I always say no to aids. I always use proper rubber to prevent accidents. transmission: set as you wish This car beats S2000's stock. Imagine what it can do now when it's tuned! this setup is suitable for grip and drift, but if you really weant to enjoy about long, easily controlled drifts, N-class tyres are recommended. I can easily imagine that God Hands father drives this car. This post has been edited by FinToy-83 on Feb 12 2007, 08:21 AM |

Well i learned the effects of LSD on my Subaru the hard way, and believe it or not, i haven't owned many GT-R's to play with, i've always been more of a WRX/EVO kinda guy, besides the R32 i have now, i've only owned 3 GT-R's, the Mines, a stock non V-spec one, and the one with the Carbon hood, but i've sold them as of now, but i can see how aftermarket (etc) would affect it. You say our driving styles are similar, just out of curiosity, what is your style ? | ||

I also have many 22B:s, because Imprezas are drivers car. Evo's are computer controlled cars.. I don't like it when the electronics slap my head and say " you can't do that, it's dangerous etc".. bit like having your mom on the next seat. there's no better rev/speed limiter than that |

In the Group A Rally comp I'm entered in, during hairpin slides the power sometimes (only sometimes) just completeley cuts out. It's like it stalls and it takes around 2 seconds to get back on its feet. Its the Mitsubishi Evolution VIII MR GSR '04. If you guys need a list of what I have installed etc, just say. Any help or advice is great. Early thanks =) |
