Clearly yea, here's the things that will be reset when you transferred to D7: i) Tuning will be reset to SPEC-3 (if your car(s) have at least Spec-3 in D6) ii) Event decals will be gone iii) FT-86 will be converted to 86 GT and reset to SPEC-3 iv) GT-R will also be reset to SPEC-3 Other than that, the exterior part will NOT be reset. The vid below proved everything:

| Because it features different, refined art style of Shigeno-sensei, the designs will vary accordingly, so to prevent clashing, I believe that's where the avatar reset is required. |

Good news from anyone in Malaysia, ID7 is finally arrived in MYS and it starts in Mid Valley  And it is a EXP version (not JPN ones)Too bad that I'm only able to go there by weekend |

| Apparently it's the correct one, what he means by EXP is the machine where places other than Japan uses...well of course it's ver.EXP if not, why would Midvalley even be online...lol anyways, further news will be coming soon...  |

| Just managed to do card transfer for Yuu in Mid Valley (and changed the setting, especially the steering feedback setting), and then do couple of online battles and lost both. I should do TA or story mode first Quite many people was there, and I'm managed to meet jon360x, Alvin, Ishida and more. Ready to transfer Erika (and rename it to Roan), and to create Tanner at the same time when I'm visit there for 2nd time.  |

| Played finish 2 feathers in Rebirth today and up to E1.. thats all.. met all the other players as yuufa mentioned above. Also learned somehow the "no brake" technique and I was able to outrun most of the AI in rebirth already.. having trouble with the first few rounds but after I never touched the brake. | 7th December 2012: First day for my ID7AAX progress!...Went to Berjaya Times Square to take a monorail straight to KL Sentral and then took another KTM train down to Midvalley and made it around 10am cause i woke up early lol... Very nice to meet the whole bunch there haha, long time no see.. Transferred my main card to D7 and then started playing Rebirth story arc and finished it quite fast... Then i continue tunings on my S2000 playing Legend Arc... Had some Story mode tag battles and also Online Tag battles... S2000 is now on Spec-5 with 2 more steps to full tune, will continue tomorrow... |

Thanks to the physics system...some corners (mostly the wider ones) which you previously needed to brake can be cleared with a simple gas tap....although your car looks like it barely turns while it does so.... Anyway my day today, just got to SS3 with SHINN....levelling once you hit S3 is certainly no walk in the park...all those tag battles are crazy. |

lol.. the funny thing is that my car is still at Spec 4, so it losses speed at any corner lol. With that said.. I don't even need to brake for any corner.. except those very very tight hairpins. I played Tsuchisaka IB without even braking at all.. only during CP1 lol well to put it simple.. so far the fastest technique in this game is exactly like D3 style. |

| I will certainly love D7 then.Honestly I'm really starting to hate drifting in D6... Well I went to Sutera Mall yesterday and it's still D6, no D7.. The simple concept to clear hairpins is like, BC > let go off gas > gas again when you're about to exit Or at least it seems like that for Akina DH @Cypher |

| haven't been an active player since ID4, so I figure to make a comeback in ID7. Didn't go as smoothly as planned when I had to wait in line for 3 hours just to make my new 86 GT. All the rage for wasting half my day off in line was gone when I finally got on the machine (though I raged a little again when the machine was not dispensing new cards properly) Once I could finally actually play, I realize how sensitive the brakes have gotten (like ID5), and without a full tuned car, you practically don't need to brake 80% of the hairpins in early stages like Akina and Akagi (none at Myogi). In fact, if you brake, the CPUs will shove you into the wall and with a barely tuned car, you have to rely on boost to catch up to them just my two cent as a re-noobed player NOTE: while furiously waiting in line, I did notice a lot of players grind against the wall on hairpins in battle, not sure if it's wall rape or just tactical for battling, and also players let go of their gas once before the hairpin and second time close to exiting the hairpin and it seems to give them good times in TAing as well |

| 8th December 2012: My Second day of ID7AAX in Midvalley... Fully tuned my Honda S2000. Had a few online 1on1 battles. Played a number of tag battles. Helped HAO transfer his card since he was busy. Observed Cypher and SHINN vomit electricity while getting to S1. Didn't play that much thanks to some people.  But overall a good day since i get to meet all the friends that i haven't seen for a long time... Edit: So far, there's 2 places with ID7AAX in Malaysia which is Midvalley Megamall and IOI Mall. |

| That's true, as long as you can find the best line to cross, you don't exactly have to drift. That's too bad, my FC is just slow, or I'm crappy. Easy for spec3 to get Gold timings, but TMR timings? GG. Hahahaha ~ Sorry justxsongs, didn't notice the forum for a while... went in the morning, left in a while. Only guy i saw around wanting to challenge was Louis? But I didn't, probably cause i didnt dare since im still Trying It Out. Loving the game more than ever after trying it out a second time today @ west mall though ~ Hahaha |

| And so... Today I have finally started my ID7AAX Day. Got my card マナ up from E3 to C1 rank. Cleared Project D Mission 1/3 and got 8000 bonus tune points along that managed to push me up to Spec 5 of my Trueno 2Door Ver. The overall feeling of the game is really confusing in terms of physic. However, it's definitely a lot more fun to play this way....even though it can be tricky sometimes. Derped a lot in TA, but got some half-decent times for first-timer nonetheless...I hope. Myogi DH: 2'53"309 Myogi: UH: 3'07"189 Iro DH: 3'35"438 Iro Reverse: 3'39"267 Tsubaki UH: 4'01"222 Nanamagari DH: 3'10"869 Nanamagari UH: 3'01"742 Akina Snow DH: 3'49"595 Overall, a very exciting day today. | Today I'm managed to rank up Yuu to C3 by playing 5 Rebirth arc games, 5 TAs (Sadamine DH, Nanamagari DH, Akina DH, Iro DH and Happo OB <4 Gold and 1 Silver>), and some random Tags. And I'm also cleared the 1st column of the Lv. 1 Project D Mission a.k.a. the in-game achievement. What's more, I've got 4 more parts remaining to full-tune my Trueno. I think because the game is now online, and they want to keep the versions consistent across all countries. Anyway it's not difficult to get used to the japanese in game. |

| 15th December 2012: Woke up early again and went to Midvalley Megamall...it's a long journey there and back home...lol Played Time Attack all the way and the only one satisfied is Tsukuba Outbound which is 2'47''XXX but still not good enough Orz...tried happo outbound and sadamine uphill both first time and got random timings lol... Didn't play much since price for game is currently set to RM3 per game start and continue as well...guhh thanks a lot for the burn money faster method and it seems like the machines aren't crowded as usual anymore, I wonder what happened... Went to have a drink with the whole bunch and let people play the machines first but when we came back, the machines were empty lol lol...i played one more round of T.A just to take my most beloved S2000 picture... In the end, i went back to Times Square and Sungei Wang to do something and also eat dinner before going home feeling very sleepy and tired... |

| I'm still surprised we finally have D7 here. I'm just frustrated that all the machine problems back in D6 were not addressed. And also, no online! :\ Transferred my D6 main card into D7 and is now ranked C2. LOTS is now at Legend Arc chapter 2. We're still getting used to the erratic physics and CPU's that are very persistent. I just hope the car's handling gets better once full-spec'd. Impreza is still 8 parts away from that. Bunta is a big pain in the rear end. I actually lost on the first crack in Legend chapter 1 before barely winning on the second try. |

| havent been playing much, too lazy to tune my car and didn't want to up my rank too fast since the rank doesn't reflect my skills. just played some online battles for fun, its pretty easy to get used to the battle physics at first.. if you're behind all u need to do is to crash into the opponent or walls and ur speed won't really drop much.. one thing that turns me off is its more like bumper car in this version, if ur behind u can simply crash until ur in front, then only focus on lining. until now still dont really know much about the battle strategies yet, waiting for japanese playerrs to release some videos sometime in the near future for us to learn. kinda upset that online battle now doesn't give u the avatar roulette >< |

Yea... endurance race now, seeing many people lost it and lose the race. Haha it's actually harder with higher spec isn't it? I'm like crying cause my car rams when it drifts ._. Sigh... practice practice... !!!! |

| So Cal recently just got our ID7 and we are so hyped. Just started spec 4 on my AE86. apparently some people have already hit the B1 level cap for offline play. We don't have online capabilities...yet. hopefully our home arcade (Round1) can pull through. Game has so much potential when connected to net. |

| There goes my hope that I was the first one to see D7 was out. The physics are... FUNNY. There's massive speed loss when my car was just transferred; but then that speed loss cut itself down by a lot when I got the Step 3 exhaust. I like it! It's got some kind of sense behind how the car loses speed, and you actually use 2nd apart from startup. Grip is true, but I'm not sure, it's like your car don't lose that much speed at higher specs, you will have to brake and gas, and the car drifts as you turn, like ID6, but harder to control.. Figuring whether it's better to drift, or brake before i turn. LoL |

| Dragon and I (panda!) hit the B1 offline cap today at the moreno valley round 1, sadface. No auras for us. most of the maps don't even have time attack attempts yet, trolol. Focusing more on battles since there seems to be some kind of weekly tournament thing starting soon. shrug. tomorrow I'm bringing another bud to get into it; he's never even played one but now is as good a time as any to start. |

Yes, burst aura is the one which appears to be much brighter and stronger than the normal aura and tornado aura, the aura can even be seen from inside the car. |

| Let's see, I finally got to try out the game today. I met Pandaman today at MV Round 1. I got to Another in LOTS, did a few T.A sessions, and my friend and I destroyed the Tag Battle first wave of 16 drivers teams. Then we unlocked a new set of teams, which killed us on the first attempt. But none the less, I haven't see this posted but once you beat all 16 teams in Tag Mode. You unlock Gamble Rumble (7th Version) as a new song to the line up. Also the Cross the X song from MOVE is also unlocked after finishing the first Story portion. I like the Coupe version of the 86, I am still 7 parts away from FT. But not bad for a 6 hour block of playing, also got to B2. |

| Played at Glorietta yesterday. Main card now ranked A3; Impreza is now only a bloody step away from Full-SPEC. Managed to clear the first cycle of Fastest in Kanto Project tag mode with one of the Glorietta regulars. There were times though we both felt we'd lose, like at Irohazaka (We only had like a 2 point lead going into Section 7.) and in the final match at Tsubaki (6-0 after Section 1 in favor of Keisuke and Takumi.). Looking back, I think it was a good idea for him to do all downhill and me to do all hillclimb matches. I did a couple of Usui TA runs before calling it a day. I was a little disappointed since I couldn't break that sub-2'50 barrier. |

| Went to MidValley yesterday and saw that all 4 machines were booked. They played for over 1(maybe 2) hour(s). I don't mind watching ppl play and learn something but doing that for an hour drives ppl crazy. Transfered my lvl 14 EXP D6 card and teamed up with another guy and played quite a lot of tag battles. I hogged the machine for maybe 2 hours,but hey, I came all the way from Malacca,the locals can go there anytime. I got up to C3 and changed the avatar a bit. The physics was actually better than what I expected,got used to it quite easily. I don't understand why some of the SG players find it a pain in the neck. The difference between a FT car and a SPEC 3 one is big,my first impression of my Spec 3 hatchback Trueno was that it loses speed like a shit(or b!tch).Had to rely on boost to actually catch up to opponents in tag battles. This version feels more fun,SEGA did managed to make it a game "everyone can play". The concept is the same as D3,go as fast as you can. |

Something I found about transferred cards is that they start off "higher" in the "matching group" (check the rectangle box on the side of the bar...it states that)...I think they start off at "Challenge+/Challenge". Fresh cards bought directly from the machine start off at "New Face/New Face" As Matching Group directly correlates to what extent you can level up (via the yellow bar on the side), transferred cards can end up higher on the cap, thats why in offline locations, different people are stuck on different levels. Anyway, today I FT'd my FC and finished off the 6th Legend chapter on my FD card. It's getting ridiculous by the way. Just clearing the Legend bar alone takes about 20 games (assuming no awakened opponents) - this is not even counting those rematches on Original/Another/Rebirth arcs you have to do as well as the battle against Bunta itself. |

| A little more grinding through Rebirth arc. Finished it, and managed to tune up to Spec 4 by 2 steps. GODS the points here are restrictive. A more efficient way of getting them would be great. Given how I'm not FT yet, I am understandably struggling whether I should grip down in 3rd gear and let natural speed loss slow me down, or brake and drift through hairpins. Irohazaka has become something of a problem. It forces me to drop to 2nd, and the acceleration out of a corner is terrible. I barely feel that I'm moving from 60-80kph before I have to shift to 3rd. Neither drifting nor gripping seems to help; the latter being neigh impossible with the AI on my ass pushing me around. |

You can find a partner and do the story mode tag..that gets you 900+ish points, double of what you would usually get from a normal story mode. You also unlock a BGM from that (Gamble Rumble [Stage 7 Version]) so you might as well do it.... |

| I'm recently back in form, which given me the 5 wins and just a loss in 1v1 online battle (reached Masters once, now in Open+ matching group for 1v1) I'm also pwned a noob twice in the random in-store battle just with Spec-3 AP1 (which will be disposed after ZN6 is FTed). Besides, I'm also did some TAs for Tsukuba OB with the same car and got a Silver instead, but major improvement on Sada DH for 3'06 (8 secs to Plat) Also, I did the tag with the random person as well, and my AE86 is now only down to a part before it FTed. Now I'm in C1 already. |

| I was in Midvalley just now to meet some of my friends. After was done, I went to check out D7 for the first time at 9 something and hung around for two hours or so. When I first entered the arcade, the D7 machines were empty but five minutes later it was like full. Managed to get in before that though. I'm not exactly sure what to think about the game. The slower pace of the game does make the game feel more boring than D6 and you don't have to use the brakes as much but these are just my early impressions of the game. On the other hand, it IS a new ID game and with it comes new excitement and new possibilities. I've seen other people play and it does look kinda fun because they're cars are wayy faster and they probably have better techniques too. I've heard that Full Spec and not Full Spec are worlds apart so I hope that will help in me growing to like it more later. I think I'd probably feel more excited if I had more time to play and get tired of D6 since I'm still fond of the Drift Boost System from that game. Blocking does feel easier though, which does give it a more realistic feel aside from just the physics differences. More minor complaints include the smaller Advantage and name fonts (for the former, I find myself having to use more mental power to deliver the information to my mind than was the case in D6 probably because my eyesight isn't good to begin with) as well as the loss of the current car used template but aside from those the new driving UI is nice as are the menus. Sad that I had to lose my avatar, but what can you do. Managed to rank up to D3 today from E3. I tried playing a little bit of LOTS but really my patience ran out and I went ahead to Online; usually where the fun is. I was mostly challenged to Akagi DH for some reason and won most of them. I also chose Nagao DH whenever I got the chance and won 2 out of three of those, I'm surprised I managed to win that many since I've barely trained or know how to play this game but I guess I've been matched with easier opponents for now. Upgraded one of my AE86Ts to Spec 4, planning to give it a racing engine. Met cypher and SHINN while I was there for a short while, its nice to see them in person again and their play is certainly great as always. Haha SHINN has dyed his hair since the last time I saw him. Need to start watching these D7 videos and learn more stuff from it. |

Over here, the culture is pretty much grab and play as long as you want though I try to be mindful of who's waiting and it affects how long I stay in the seat , usually only if there's no other cabs available though. |

Generally speaking for my side of the world, if you want to play next, you mark your intent to play by placing a dollar coin in the top corner of the cabs, on the small metal lip above the screen, and this goes until you either have to leave or run out of money; it's similar to MT and how we place a coin on the ledge in front of the monitor, so you know someone is there while you play. However, the guys that decided to hog the only two cabs available placed ten coins in succession on the lip each, meaning they aren't removing themselves from the machine anytime soon, and they don't give a damn if you're standing there for two hours. In fact, I had to ASK to play in when the two guys who were constantly battling before I got my two games in, even though I marked in. I guess you can say there's no courtesy or sharing in our arcade culture. |

| A bit of warning for any who are thinking of coming to Midvaley today. All the machines are currently offline as of this posting. Three out of four machines were online jus now but the connection dissappeared as I was playing. The machine froze on me too, had to wait five minutes before it ejected my card. Everytime after that, it kept blanking for a minutes after every eject for me and the guy beside me. The freezing problem appears to be fine now but there's no online connection. No technician in the arcade as of now according to the cashier. |

I have to say I'm really starting to enjoy the game now that my car is faster, there's a lot less speed loss at turns. Also finding myself BC-ing a lot more now that the car is faster. Also went from Open+ to Masters level, people here are tougher that's for sure. I also tagged with another player there, is was fun. Got a shirt change for my avatar and made her skin to slightly lighter, but didn't accept anything else. Still not liking this reliance on tag battles or tag mode to fill up the avatar change meter. Also got a chance to sample the music since the arcade wasn't loud today. For the moment, I still think D6's songs ate vastly better though I'll have to wait and see wither the D7 songs grow on me. While I was playing LOTS (Kyoko Tsukuba IB)while waiting to get an online single. battle, the game froze out on me today. I had to wait 5-6 minutes before it unfroze with me automatically losing with a Time Up after the unfreeze and ejected my card. The online also disappeared after that, and so think I'm more disappointed about that than the freeze. As Ive mentioned earlier, the kept blanking out for a minutes each time I ejected the card afterwards: a good day overall but ended weirdly and dissapointedly, but I got most of my online stuff done before. |

A similar thing happens with D6 over here in Cobay 1U and Cobay BTS, since the old Wangan 3DX+ machines are now placed next to D6 machines. Sometimes they override the D6 sound, D6 machines aren't ever as loud for some reason. They used to be located further away but those spots are now used for Wangan 4. |

| Leveled from C3 to B3 today, and entered the Masters+ category though I was buoying between Masters and + for awhile. Opponents are really getting tough, and I'm not skilled enough to keep up. Also finally full tuned my 3-door AE86T and gave it the racing engine. Also tagged with SunnyDay for a short while to get new hair for avatar and some points. Online works like a charm today. My right hand hurts like hell. Also met Ishida and Hao today, they were playing and tagging for awhile. Good to see them again. |

| Today reached B2 level and Special class, though was levitating between Special and Masters+ most of the time. Finally getting a better hanged of the FTed AE86T, it's certainly quite fast compared to the non FTed one. The physics also feel similar to D6 but with grip boost without getting drift first(to some extent anyways), there's not much slowing down though got a bit when grip turning and BC to drift/slide works well for the purposes of this game. Still figuring out the places to drift and grip though, but looking at videos, very little brake usage in Nagao DH in some of the videos. I'm too stingy to spend money on TA at the current price, so my only place for learning is in battles where you can get free games..........-.- |

While training with TAs, I realized sometimes when you bc while you turn, and halfway through you release the gas, the car turns even more and bangs ._. BC, turn wheel, release gas = Bang.. My poor car T_T |

| Here's a hint for everyone, For wide corners, turn steering first, then light bc, then release gas/ tap tap gas only if your car is sliding out to the wall and going to bang. Remember maintain your lining no matter what. For sharp corners, turn steering and bc at the same time, then off gas/ tap tap if necessary to avoid bang. I hope this works for you guys. I've been doing this all the while to get my times, so hopefully it helps. |

HOLY SKAGSUCK! I can't believe I only played this game for like....second time of my entire IDAS life and I managed to actually get even with some bigger dogs around the globe in Myogi.  Pumped my card all the way to A3 and hell, met Shinn, Cypher, Hao and much more people there. Also had a bunch of tag-battles with Shinn. Good game today, dude. Think you'll be there tomorrow? |

| What does it mean when a Character from a previous arc has an R with a circle around it? I'm guessing rematch, because I tried taking them on and had my bumper handed to me once every try before I got them. There doesn't seem to be any point benefits either. |

You'll need to beat all such opponents AND fill up the bar in Legend for a particular chapter before you can face Bunta. ------- Anyway, played earlier at Glorietta, saw Rojohn again after quite some time, and tuned my RS a bit which is now a step away from completing SPEC-4. Also got my first-ever Specialist TA run at Myogi UH with a 2'43"9. I can't wait to get the RS to Full-SPEC so I can compare it to the Impreza as far as ease of use and handling are concerned. I'm still frustrated that we don't have online here. And to think Timezone enabled online for D6 for a week back in June! I know we have a slim chance of winning online battles, but that's part of the challenge to become better... to go up against the best the world has to offer. Looks like it's about time to write a formal letter to Timezone about it. |

I agree with you. Many lessons to learn if we also compete in the online battle and hope Timezone allow us to have that online to higher the rankings and will not stuck to A3 rank. Also I really happy that the new version of Bunta Challenge has back once again. By the way I really don't get it. When I'm ahead to Spec 5 of the FD RS, it seems that I can't pump the gas timely to turn in the hairpins. | The same thing happened to me as my car got stronger, you'll have to change your turn and foot timings because your car loses a lot less speed while turning now and moves faster too. My cornering ability really dropped than before until I changed things a bit. I think someone once advised that hairpins are usually best tackled by BC and turning the wheel, more like D6 but I guess that depends on which hairpins too. |

I personally feel it's more on the arcade's decision itself. Online connections shouldn't be a problem for Timezone Glorietta because its location is right smack in a business district. I mean, they allow online connections for ReRave, WMMT 4, and DJMax Technika 3; therefore, allowing online full-time for IDAS theoretically shouldn't be a problem. |

| Played this morning till 1something. There was a lot of people today, including some TMR players and I think Wing was one of them. Firmly in the Special division now though keep getting my ass handed to me more often now, even in Nagao DH. I just haven't figured out how to take some of the corners properly at FT. I'm still using a bit too much of my D6 tactics in some of the Section 2 corners. Usually that can be taken advantage of by the following Drift Boost but not so here. I can only manage 3'03"800 for Nagao DHD TA for now with the 3-door AE86T, feel a lot slower than the other times in the arcade. The game also likes to hand me course decisions in a strange way, especially today. A lot of 3 straight choices, but also a lot of 3 straight non-choices. Relatively less flip flopping between the two. Also keep meeting Special players with a lower win count than me, which is scary as hell since it means they must lose very little for their ratio to be so.... |

| haven't been playing much.. just S1 with burst aura. doubt i'll be playing this version as seriously as d6 considering the amount of free time i have left is so minimal. will probably just play some TA and only play battles when the secret to the battle system is out. and also just clear missions to get aura. |

| Bought and tuned an MRS to Spec3. Played it for awhile but after that I realized that I forgot how to use my Trueno. Didn't think I saw Randy anywhere today. Tagged for a few battles as well. Also leveled up to A2 from B1 and a few in-store battles as well. Got new hair and clothes for avatar.
I'm flattered. And the ironic thing is I made the video to retrain myself when I return to Malaysia next time on break. I don't really have much time left so thinking to play and achieve as much as I can in a week and the half. |

| Had a very productive day today (ID wise that is ). Tagged with like four different people including Sunday, some guy, his son as well as Rensouke. Managed to level up to S3 from A2. Recorded a lot of my tag battles today until both my batteries ran out. Even met SHINN again and saw him run some God-TA runs. Tried to TA on Nagao DH to try and break the 3 minute mark but really fail badly again. This is what I get for playing D6 the other day, I am BC-ing too much in the early sections that I do not know how to tackle some of the early sharp corners here. Nagao DH is weird in the sense that you don't need to BC a lot compared to other complex maps. Weird part is, I performed okay when battling there(I even lead most of the time rather than being helped by battle boost) but when TA I always screw up badly somewhere and quit the run and waste MYR3....... |

| Went to Midvalley early in the morning. Tried to do event but I'm just too noob at Tsuchisaka to face the other Special level players so I didnt do much. Full tuned the MRS and its really nice to play at Nagao. Also played online battle with the MRS in order to full tune it and save some money with the extra games, and while I was at it I met my first SSS player, but won because it was my home course and because I was using a better car, even if not at full power I guess. Also met SHINN later when he come to play event. Later in the afternoon, I went to CYC Sunway to check out the new D7 upgrades. I also happened to meet Takumizim and Jon360 there in person for the first time and it was finally nice to see them I guess. Tagged with Takumizim on LOTS to finish complete all the remaining missions. Suffered some bad setbacks along the way. The network cable on machine B2 failed TWICE which meant that Takumizim lost his progress twice because it wasn't saved, though this was fine after the technician replaced the network cable. Prior to that, machine B1 eat up a few RM of my tokens and I had to call the technician. Turned out that some irresponsible idiot slotted a guitar pick inside the machine and it was affecting the coin system but it was fine after the technician removed it. I wasn't really planning to play a lot at Sunway, but Takumizim insisted on the the tag LOTS and I thought it would be a good opportunity finish it since this opportunity rarely comes up for me. Machine performance isn't exactly perfect especially relative to Holiday Planet Midvalley (CYC Sunway doesn't really have a good reputation for condition of its D5/6 machines either unfortunately so its hardly surprising). B1 has a power steering of sorts that pushes the steering in the direction that you turn it but it makes turning the opposite direction right after difficult and painful too. A2 and B2 both have very heavy steering even when you put it at light settings but it doesn't fight you at least. I never tried A1 personally but Takumizim and Jon says that the accelerator fails to input sometimes, IIRC. CYC's normal policy of not allowing free continues stays unsurprisingly. They don't allow continues after a tag or an online win and this worsens with the new higher price tag of RM3 (though this is normal price for other D7 machines in Malaysia). Takumizim mentioned that it won't even give you a free game even in an event win this time, which is a downgrade from D6 where it would give you regardless of setting. The new price combined with the less ideal machine conditions combined with the usual no continue setting makes it really unattractive compared to Holiday Planet Midvalley for those who are indifferent to their locations. AND DAMN, SUNWAY HAS LIKE 20 WANGAN 4 MACHINES!!!! WTF |

Sarcasm aside, Bunta came up today and chose Nagao. an odd choice, but okay, why not? He was on my tail for most of the run, then suddenly decided to stop messing around once we hit the straightway at the end, and started to pull away at ridiculous speeds. I'm pretty sure I hit the rev limiter in 5th, and he was still pulling away. |

| Today started out with another loss to Bunta. Not how I would have LIKED it to begin, but I suppose we have to start somewhere. During my buildup to challenge him again, Shinji and Ryosuke came up, and I opted to use them as Nagao practice. Shinji's defeat allowed me to get my first Spec 5 part. Never did I think that one part suddenly changes my calm, predictable little FF into a screaming banshee. During Ryosuke's run, I caught that my reaction times were either suddenly just a fraction of a second too slow for my car; or it was just understeering that much more. I was checking my cornering speeds and shift points; no change from when I was just a full spec 4. But beyond reasons I can think of right now, the car just felt so much faster. Took up my first tag battle too. That IS much more enjoyable than single player. Much less pressure to get a perfect line and outrun someone, and more focus on the line denial part of the game. |

Also glad you've experienced your first tag. ======= Went to Midvalley for awhile today. Had to wait for 2 hours before I got the seat but that was unsurprising. Just went there to get stamp and tune the second 86 a little bit. Saw Yuufa, Cypher, SHINN, Hao, Brian, but didn't really converse. Used auto since I'm trying to heal my right hand from the strain. |

| Machines at my arcade still don't have many TA times registered to them, so I somehow have 2nd rank on Tsubaki UH in a less than half tuned S13. Tried the CPU Tag battle mode with a random guy, it was a miserable failure as I was pushing to stay ahead while my partner chose to stay way behind and clean up the silver tokens. Oh, and I found that left foot braking works wonders for the high speed courses. |

As Digi said, after inserting your cards, go into the car selection screen (which is the second leftmost option in the first menu), choose the car you want to buy parts and then press start. After that, you'll have three options: purple, green and another that brings you to the mode selection menu. The exterior parts are divided between the purple and green sections; look at the pictures so you'll know which part is sold on which menu though. |

| Was at Glorietta yesterday and earlier today. Got my RS to Full-SPEC. I'll try to save up the tuning points, like get it up to 20-30K, before working on the Trueno. *sighs a bit* Looks like Myogi UH is the only map I can get a SPECIALIST TA run on so far. Ran a 2'42"587 there with the RS. Looks like I'll need 2'35 or better on DH, currently at the low 2'36 mark there. Also got new personal bests for Usui with a 2'48"9xx and a 2'49"7xx for CCW and CW, respectively. Still hoping to get to the '47 mark... or at least run '48's consistently. |

I leveled up to SS3 today, but got knocked back to S1 because the game didnt let me choose my course for nine times straight today. Won some of them (won at Happo for the time ) but didn't really help me maintain the SS3 since I started off low to begin with. |

The Tag Kanto's fastest Project free online game only applies when u tag with someone and select "versus ai" instead of straight going online or opening instore tag challenge. If you win the ai u can choose to continue free online tag or select continue AI tag (which requires you to put 1 more credit, so I guess free online is better to choose lol) EDIT : Anyway. 16/1/2013 : Today went to Sunway to sell off one card to SunnyDayX, we tag awhile. Both of us leveled up to A3 at the same time.. yay congrats! played TA and tag with some random stranger awhile up to A2, Kept playing Akina DH to further improve it. Improved from 3'02"xxx to 3'00"241. Need, to further study the course and improve my driving zzz |

| Played earlier today and started the Trueno's tuning process, which is now at the start of SPEC-5. I'm still unsure though what to choose when I reach the last tuning step someday. Part of my mind wants to go with the turbocharger like what I did back in D6; however, another part wants to go with the high-rev racing engine. Chopped almost 3 seconds off Akina UH, now in the mid-3'02's, using the Impreza. Long-term goal for Akina is to get 2'59 for both directions. |

machine A2 should help you with TA... B2 should be okay either.... B1 and A1 have pedal problems... all the steering are fixed for now... sunway living up to standards for machine condition... even the pedal glitch doesn't happen to often so I'm quite satisfied with it because I didn't notice it until I played TA.. but all awhile I kept staring at the meter.. it was fine >_> |

| Haven't played in awhile, but I went the day before yesterday and cut that Akagi DH from 2'48 to 2'44, just 5 more seconds to cut! Going again today to see if I can drop it further. Saw a lot more B1s (the cap here) but not many good ones. It's a low cap so I guess there's a huge potential of difference in skill between max level players here in the states. |

I was in a bad condition to play; I wasn't wearing my sneakers(wore slippers instead), short pants(which I'm not comfortable with, usually I always played D7 with long pants), and tired(because of standing for one hour straight, yes I got tired very quickly). When I'm playing, banged a lot of walls. At least I full tuned my FC3S WOOHOO! |

| Regarding about the level cap. I figure out by using offline and online machine. Some people can only reach to B1 ~ A1 around the range. Well it's depends on the card you transfer over. I believe those previous do not have any online battles will stuck at the B1, due to the golden bar beside. Those played in D6 online battle and reach master+, when transfer to D7 will reach challenger+ (Depends on how much you play in D6 as the golden bar stands) Hence cap to A2-3. These are my assumption. While my another friend say depends the amount of online battle played in D6 will determined the golden bar and also level cap in the end. |

| ^ My card in D6 had zero experience in online battles, yet for some strange reason, that same card now in D7 is capped at A3. And even if we had online here, I doubt it I'd even be able to get past S3 because everyone elsewhere is very strong. LOL. |

That's not necessarily true...there's a lot of people in country here having S2 or S3 cards (and they can't level anymore due to the yellow bar) but can't even drive straight == As long as you can drive decently and have online I think SS2~3 should not be an issue. |

| As pointed out earlier, skills play a stronger role than the cars spec. My opponent, if i am not mistaken, must be a specialist in stock cars. He could take waypoints that would not slow his car down than it would for me So, yeah, you can have a rank SSS and a super tuned car, it would not matter if you have to grind the rails to take corners |

| Attempted to emulate an Akina DHD run from youtube using a half Spec 5 EK9 ended pathetically. Lots of forced sideways skidding and the rear end decided not to cooperate, rebelling and making me eat the inside. Is it possible that I'm not turning the wheel enough? Or maybe I should go practice in V3 again? |

I rather you have a main car first (S2000) hAahhahaha ~ I had that feeling when my FC is spec 5 and 2D spec 3, now at least I can fully concentrate on my 2D since my FC is done. Besides, it won't be the only event, but just a suggestion overall ~ =P On a side note, does anyone know how much it costs to tune Spec 5 from step 1 to 10? LOL |

By June, I'm guessing everyone will be 5 seconds faster in everything. D7 has been a blast so far, and it definitely exceeds my initial perspective of the game as I read about it before. Holiday Planet Midvalley is a pretty awesome arcade too, with the lighting and all. I'm also going to miss those MaiMai machines behind D7, even though I didn't touch it and probably never will. Glad to meet SHINN and ishida again, and cypher too even though I've only seen him twice within the month. |

Played more online for more points due to the 3 win 1k bonus and free continue unlike SUNWAY. from OPEN to MASTERS+ i played and after I reached MASTERS+ (INITIAL D HELL RANKING STARTS HERE) I loss 2 times to HAPPO FC SPECIALIST AND GTR FATASS BLOCKING SPECIALIST on IRO DH find my car lacking boost to chase... dang it.. As a result, YELLOW A3 AURA GET! WOOHOO! This was the first time I went to Sunway without my parents (researching on the net on the day before yesterday to learn how to go there from Wangsa Maju). I met OtakuXAA, jon360x, takumizim and hebe (Why u no come, Cherrylyne?!). I cleared Level 1 row 2's mission, 1 more online battle win, 20 more wins in LotS and I'll clear Level 1 row 3's mission (One step closer to my dream aura, BURST!). Sorry hebe and OtakuXAA, from 4pm onwards I'm getting tired and I seriously wanted the burst aura, so I didn't really tag with you guys Finished Rebirth arc and got to battle with Bunta hehehe, in Akina. He obviously hasn't awakened because I beat him easily. As I aforementioned, I battled with quite a lot of online players and I sucked! Been hovering between Open and Open+ There were two occasions that when I thought I was gonna lose, I actually win! WTF juz happened?! jon360x told me that it is actually the boost. It happened to me in D6 before during an Akina event. I know he let me win cos he is so far ahead. Level 1 player I recall, definitely an event card. In any case, it's not exactly common though I guess it does happen. I think one has a higher probability of encountering a player who flashes the brakes at you on the finish line. -.- @cypher: You're too good bro. They don't feel like letting you win. lol |

*face palm* I'm not a 3-year old girl, Rensuke. And I know about the boost system. So I'm pretty sure I can tell a win by boost from a win by the opponent letting you win. A car slamming its brakes right before the finish line is definitely letting you win. The brake lights illuminate so it's very obvious. As for me, I usually cut the steering and ram my car into the walls if I'm letting my opponent win. There was once a very funny moment when during one battle, me and my opponent wanted to let each other win. S/He stopped his/her car right before the finish line, while I rammed the wall. That was an awkward moment, and both of us didn't make a move for a while, then I decided to honor his decision and took the win. There are people like these out there, but it might be very rare for you to battle one |

| There is such thing as double win also due to the connection lag (I wonder if this is fixed in D7) so seeing him braking before the finish line normally isn't letting u win... its he shining his brake lights at u (a form of trolling in IDAS, in D6 the boost was kinda strong even though you couldn't feel it, its so strong enough for them to shine brake lights at u and still pull away) I still rmb the Tsuchisaka event I wont by a stupid way... the guy didn't had the brakes on but his car just got slower and slower and stopped at the finish line and let me pass when I was 60m away =.=, I assume its lag but im not sure with that.. but if you stop before the finish line and he stops also then I don't know whats wrong.. no one would simply waste their money especially japs lol |
