I seriously have to agree with the FF for starters thing, they literally handle like real FFs do (epic understeer FTL laugh.gif laugh.gif )... i shaved off a second and a half from my happo OB time with the FD RS after running my EK for awhile there laugh.gif laugh.gif

FF Cars are easier to comprehend when we are just getting to know the game.

Once we know what we are suppose to do, switch to our preference drive-train smile.gif

I only use the Type R / FC for Time attacks in Akagi, never tried using it for battle since both are still Stock and not planning to pinch2.gif .

The Type R are on par in Akagi compared to my FD type RS Timings which is w00t2.gif for a stock car.

You might want to try out for yourself

There are differences of course, since 1 is stock and the other is almost FT

I can't feel any difference for handling between the FD3S & FD3S6 ermm2.gif

But for the FC, it handles better happy.gif, I always improve the lining of my Akina DH after using the FC, will shave around 0.2xx secs after each personal record break

myrecent finding

mr and fr no difference in startup. if there is, it's very slight that it doesn't make a difference.

i haven't tried with the ffs yet.

a little bit la. so far i've tried mr2 vs na6c. the mr2 took the lead only because the na6c had a blunder in shifting.

with regards to startup...i think more experiments like shadow_zero's can be done, using same FT cars with different starts, and different FT cars with same starts. for example,

gc8, cold start + gc8, hot start

gc8, hot start + miata, cold start

this way we can find out the differences between hot and cold starts, and prove whether or not weaker drivetrains like FF can out-do a lousy 4WD start, or FFs are doomed to crawl before they run...

there no need for that, we just need to find out the top cars that has off the line start since that is what important, right now it looks like the 4WD has the advantage so need to find out whether its the GDBF, R32, or another 4WD

Well the cards dont EXPIRE, from what I've read around the forums so I find it hard to imagine any problem renewing them.

In the future though, who knows.

IDAS5 FAQ EXP Version ( Format based on IDAS4 FAQ by DamienWolf )

Foreword

This FAQ is for the Export International Version, the EXP version does not get the following things :

- No new modes ( Only Story, TA & In-Store Battle )
- No avatar
- No aura
- No multiple tuning
- No additional colors for your car
- No rank up

WARNING !

It seems that there is a problem with the current EXP Version on Card Renewal
The process is suppose to be done online, whereby our Version is an Offline one

So when your card life reach 11, it will stay that way !

So its a good thing then ? NO !

You are still able to save the Game as usual but sooner or later, your card will reach its limit and that's it, all your data will be LOST !

Its like a bomb ticking with an invisible timer crying2.gif

But a friend of mine have been using his card for more than 250x and its still ok pinch2.gif

I just know about...when the card limit reaches to zero, need to renew the card. The data will be transfer into new card, right? But, I'm got worried and you said about...renew problem and all data will be LOST!!!

the card life doesn't reach zero. when u reach 11, it stays at 11. ohmy.gif

but anyway, haven't really confirmed this, but there seems to be another prob with the EXP machines. when they are unlininked, then we do TA's, and then linked again, the TA records becomed jumbbled up and scattered all over. example, your akina time in tsukuba, etc, etc. haven't really confirmed this yet, but accdg to ultradd it also happen at their arcade in singapore

Yarly. I'd rather play ID4 English, even with all its flaws, than ID5 EXP. Sega really dropped the ball this time... pinch2.gif

Ver.5 sounds and looks very fun to me. Ver.4 was just a mistake altogether imo, but ver.5 seems like it could be fun. I just don't get why they release this EXP version with all these problems...and why they don't make an english version or at least export it to North America is beyond me...

Yeah ID4 has some majorly funky physics and it sucks that the English version doesn't have everything the Japanese has, but at least the game freakin works. w00t2.gif
