It's about time they released a new game that's not a Super Ultra Mega HD AE Turbo edition. I just hope they keep the current roster and add more than a couple characters. But I have a feeling they're going to pull a "Gundam Extreme VS" and cut half of the roster from the previous game, since this is going to be on a new platform. The console decision doesn't surprise me. Japanese gamers couldn't care less about the Xbox, and I'm pretty sure a majority of the fighting game tournaments used the PS3 versions in the past. SFIV was one of those games where there wasn't that many casuals that played it and most of the competitive scene was on the PS3. I think this is just a timed exclusive though. I can't see them not releasing it on the XB1 eventually. Unless Sony really pulled out of the big guns and paid top dollar for it to be exclusive. Here is some beta gameplay footage shown here of the new Street Fighter V. Word is that this game will have cross platform gameplay between PC and PS4 which is a first. I really like to see how this will turn out. If they are going to attempt this, they really need to make it solid. We had some pretty bad game play experience when SFXT first came out and also when MVC3 as well. This stage looks very familiar though, anyone remembers in street fighter 3 new generation yun stage.
