Hey, im new here and have on Kazaa stage 1 episode 1-26, stage 2 episode 1-13, stage 3 the movie, and extra stage and I was just wondering if I am missing any episodes and if the stages are in the correct order, and if that is all the Initial D stages? Thank you.

nope, thats everything. You could also get battle stage, but that doesn't have anything to do with the story line, so it's all good.

Well, your just missing a special.

It's called "Battle Stage" and was just released a few months ago. Not much your missing though.

Battle Stage is just a recap of all the stage's races in better quality format. There are no plots and each race is cut short to fill the entire 40 minutes of all CG format races of Takumi in all 3 stages, excluding extra stage.

The only dialog you get is when they are racing in the car and the drivers talk to themselves. After each race it goes directly into another race without any intro of storyline whatsoever.

But because of bad rip (err...soldats) the races CG still look a bit bad quality then what it's supposed to be. It's not much.

Oh and the Eurobeat tracks for each race are all replaced with newer tracks than the original ones.

Just missing Battle Stage.

Otherwise, you've seen everything.

Not much but I still like Battle Stage however.

Yep, that's when Kenshin notices Sanosuke goes out in the night and starts his planned terrorist attack against one of the Meiji government buildings.

Thanks anyways, I like this icon too.

Yeah, they kind of left him off after the end of the Kyoto Arc.

He was a cool character, got to love his Aku.Soku.Zan motto.

Oddly enough, I liked the Shinsengumi best in the OVAs.

My memory is kinda fuzzy and could be wrong, but isn't the reason why they couldn't follow the manga due to the fact that they hadn't written that in yet.

I agree though that Kenshin would be a true classic had they done so.

From what I understand the Extra stage is a few episodes about Mako and Sayuki, one of them has nothing to do with car racing but is them on a ski trip?

Anyway, I'd say that the Extra stage should be watched after the 1st stage then?

I'm not sure, since I JUST finished watching the SilEighty race on the first stage. I haven't even removed the celophane from any of the other DVDs yet..

Yeah, the creators of Kenshin were too anxious to wait for the Jinchuu arc to finish in the manga.

Either that, or they kind of ran out of funding at the end, not so sure. Anyways, they only animated a few minutes of the Jinchuu arc with Enishi but I agree if they put it altogether on the 3rd season then Kenshin would be perfect as a series.

Still almost perfect though. cool.gif

Oh and about Extra Stage, it's best watched sometime during 2nd stage.

y'mean the seisou hen OVA? where kenshin was all old with his son and stuff? the artwork and fighting was superb but the story line was kinda dragging... but since it's an ova, i shouldn't have expected comedic parts... they're always so serious...

ya...the ending was a lil anti-climatic in seisouhen. I liked the first OVA better...Samurai X(can't remember the japanese title it starts with a T)

*spoiler*

I thot it was kinda kool how he went back to using his real name Shinta.

but ya..comming home half dead is really stupid..but I like how Sano looked. and Yahiko too. they both looked kooler when they're older.

*end of spoiler*

I didn't really like Extra Stage. I liked 3rd stage so much better

Yeah, I also like the first OVA better......

Not Seisouhen but rather Tsukeiken (sp?) or something like that.

That has got to be one of the best OVAs ever made in anime. Great storyline, superb animation and awesome music and mood.

Seisouhen was decent, still, I didn't like how they wasted the first part of it recapping almost everything in the anime series itself.

Really?

I always thought Extra Stage came before the movie......

Anyways, Battle Stage is supposed to be last, it's relatively new and came out after 3rd stage. Also, it's mainly a recap of everything in the entire series animated to date.

So it's nothing really new.
