Otogizoushi.... if your into that kinda thing. I've been watching it quite happily. Just a suggestion though.

EDIT
When i say "that kinda thing" I mean Hien era shows with Magatama's and stuff and Otogi's and the like. If you've played Otogi for Xbox it features characters named after that.. Some very famous Japanese story about Minamoto Raikou and his band of merry followers. Sadamitsu's my fave in this show cause he has two swords.........................

Nah thats one of its kind... For THAT kinda thing you gotta watch Jidaigeki's which are not as popular cause ppl dont' like the live action actors, and involving storyline. Anyways Ninja Scroll TV series try that.

Otogizoushi is about a girl Hikaru whos brother "Raikou" is sick and dying so she sets off on whats SUPPOSED to be his mission ordered by superiors to find the Magatama's of Suzaku, genbu, byakko,Seiryu. The four gods (mostly commonly assoicated with Fushigi yuugi) to "restore peace onto the captial" but its really just a ploy by the head Otogi Seimei for his own selfish purposes. She meets up with some people along the way. She travels with her brothers best friend and Vassell "TSuna"... And its only on EPS 13 now I don't wanna spoil it but thats about it. Just try the first few eps I like it. Its very unique and different.

Shingetsutan Tsukihime. Check it out. It was probably my favorite anime of recent times. I dont know how you'll take it though, cause I really enjoyed Gunslinger Girl. I like darker anime like that, deeper with minimal (if any) comedy. Saikano is also amazing.

pinch2.gif I hate FUMOFFU for the simple fact that it was OVERLY HYPED by the would be otaku's out here in my area and they ran around saying "FUMOFFU" and it got gay and annoying and thus i cannot stand the site of it or anything anymore pinch2.gif
Dang I haven't been paying too much attention to anime in the last y ear there was one really kick ass one I saw i forgot the name of though. Damn this golden age of console games takes away my attention.

Peace Maker Korugane and Chrno Crusade also came out this past year. They were decent. I didnt enjoy Chrno Crusade that much, but the individuals that liked FMA would dig it.

One of my more favorite recent series is Maria-sama Ga Miteru, wasnt quite as good as KGNE (I would like wait up every Sunday night waiting for it to be posted on IRC), but still quite good.

Yea, that was pretty good too. I was thinking something a bit better, but yea, I can see that one. Get Backers and Mezzo is good. If you watch Get Backers though, stop at the end of the first session, its terrible after that.

Something he needs to watch is GTO. Cant have a collection without the mandatory GTO.
