Hello,

does anyone know if its feasible to complete all the races in story mode without a licence card(i.e no upgrading). Im in sydney and the 3 machines I could find(two v5 and one v4) none of them have working card reader or cards. just wondering if anyone has attempted this.

thanks.. smile.gif

I'm just guessing but I suspect no. I remember playing D5 a long time ago and I could barely do it with a full tuned car. If it is possible, it would be quite hard at the very least.

Still if you're going to try it, I recommend getting the Cappuccino for D5 as it's the strongest car in game. You might also want to read up on the boost system in D5 from the old threads as it is very complex. You'll need this to even have a chance.

If this was D6 onwards, I can confidently say you have 0% chance since the physics systems of stock and full tune are radically different. But D4 and D5 the physics before and after full tune is the same except for speed.
