Does anybody know whether the the distance you beat your Legend opponent affects how fast the Bunta Bar is filled? I've been manipulating the Legend AI so far and I always keep it around 20-30 meters.

But the Bunta Bar fills quite slow now, I think it's mostly because it gets slower after each stage you beat Bunta but confirmation on the distance thing one way or the other would be nice. If it does, I'll just beat them further than normal.

Currently on Tsukuba OB meter, not sure what his time is but I'm confident of beating him here. Pumping the bar seems to be the bigger obstacle.

Hi, Where u play ?

SGP, Tampines Mall Timezone, but you wouldn't see me often now. The only reason why I used to play alot because in that Timezone, the two IDAS7AAX cabinets on the right side used to give 5 plays per card swipe... I think the employees noticed... so they fixed it, like 2-3 days ago ermm2.gif It had been like that for years, but too bad I won't be playing actively from now onwards lol

Its not that hard learning manual, even if you can't drive manual in real life, in this game it's relatively easy. Just do it wink2.gif

I think it's worth trying out because of all the stuff you can do later (automatic has limitations as someone else says). Even if you are bad at first, the payoff long term is worth it.

Never mind because I don't play serious. In fact, I don't actually have my goal in the game.

Wait. You really can't use manual?

Is it a reflex inability to multitask thing? Or is this your first racing game that has emphasis on gears?

Not taking the piss or anything. I'm genuinely curious, as I assume most gamers have at least mastered the art of using two hands on two different input devices ( i.e. Keyboard and Mouse).

The main problem I have is forgetting to shift, because I am very used to automatic. Been driving auto since everything after IDAS3. Talking about keyboard and mouse, I do play alot of Counter Strike (both 1.6 and GO). In fact, in CSGO, I main as awper of my competitive team.

So it is not an inability, rather I think of it as laziness. Back in the days I was serious about IDAS i practiced eraser alot and i can do double erasers

I play auto sometimes as well, but mainly because it strains my hand less. There's a lot less one handed steering with auto. Usually it's for mundane things like filling a bar rather than an all out serious battle.

Auto is nice sometimes as a break from manual and personally I find it more challenging because there's so many limitations with it compared to manual.

Personally for me, those limitations found in auto made it less fun for me. If i dont use my other hand on the gear shift, i would find it a bit boring even though i think by using auto, you can concentrate more on handling your car.

It's more abt multitasking. Sometimes the disadvantage of using MT is that u undergear or overgear. Sometimes acceleration is slower..

I personally find it more boring to play as well, it's just that sometimes it's a nice change of pace since the plays type is different since you're limited to two-gear downshifts instead of one-gear downshifts in manual.

I also find it useful for learning courses, since I can learn the turns without worrying about the gear. Usually I will play lower spec car in auto because it feels like less of a chore while I'm tuning it. I find shifting way more satisfying after the Post-Last-Box-Spec-4 physics change.
