I just noticed today that it seems like Initial D was removed from Netflix. It kind of sucks since there didn't seem to be any advance warning that the series was going to be removed. I guess now I understand how Netflix can be a pretty cool service but at times kind of crappy as well.

That blows, I hope it's just a temporary thing, however, judging by their own Netflix-like streaming service I have a feeling it might be a permanent thing.

I have a dark feeling that they don't have any intention to bring it back. But they might since I do think they cycle through series to put up for streaming on Netflix. It sucks to hear about that though.

Yeah, it's nothing new. They do cycle through things based on what I've kept track of.

They probably just have it pulled while they negotiate the streaming deal with Funi again. This happened a while back and it was returned to streaming shortly afterward.

Money is changing hands. They can't legally stream it until Funi gets $$$.

Here's a better idea: stop streaming anime.

I started rewatching from Stage 1 one day, and the next day it was gone. Pretty annoying, but there's other services/ways you can watch so that's good.

Edit: BUT DON'T WORRY GUYS THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE IS STILL ON THERE. awesome.gif

Here's a better idea: stop streaming anime.

There are still people terrified of getting SWATted for downloading anime illegally, so streaming is an easier option, I guess. Anything to avoid paying full freight for the DVDs.

Meanwhile my HDD is choking on way too many series' sitting in the video folder.

Exactly my point, but some folks just can't cross that line for some reason.

I guess the concept of torrenting is too complicated for them. That or "muh Internet boogeyman".

Well looks like it's still gone from Netflix, I guess maybe Funimation is trying to boast their streaming services rather than sharing their stuff with third parties like Netflix. sad.gif
