It takes place ten years prior and follows the events of the fourth Holy Grail War. OFFICIAL NICO NICO SIMULCAST STREAM CHANNEL EPISODE 1 NICO NICO SIMULCAST STREAM (each episode will only be up for one week) EPISODE DL's @ http://www.animetake.com/anime/fate-zero/ Fate/Stay Night anime and movie never existed. Fate/Zero is the only Fate/Stay anime. The only and best Fate/Stay anime to have come into existence.
1st episode was a double lengthed episode (40 mine) and gradually builds up off a somewhat slow start but only because it had to introduce a whole multitude of characters, context and setting. Regardless you'd be crazy to be not watching this.

It was a bit slow to start, but there was much character development to be made to prepare for the actual content which (I would assume) will kick in right away. I'll be eagerly following this. |

Seriously, black business suit Sabre and bare amour Lancer has got to be the epitome of badass and suaveness. Oh, and the best part about Fate/Zero? That dimwit Shirou ain't around to wreck the damn show! |

I mean how could you choose anyone over Iris and Ilya? |

I don't think he'll show up until that bastard Kirei started the Fuyuki Fire. I'm looking forward to Lancer's entrance though. And i'm looking out for more BROSKANDER goodness.

Oh and old Hassan isn't quite done yet... He's fairly easy to kill, his entire class are (for heroic spirit standards anyway) but...

They can always show what Shirou's doing (meanwhile) elsewhere. I wondered how he ended up becoming Kiritsugu's foster son. As for Hassan, he won't die even if he's killed. Lol.

Technically all Servants are. They're mere projections of the true heroic spirits residing in the Throne of Heroes, and as thus must be sustained by channeling prana to them.

Interesting character, he reminds me a lot of Ryuk, from Death Note. At first I thought his heroic persona was Dracula, but the legend of Bluebeard is a bit more fitting. I also thought he was going to be Berserker class, considering his master's personality, but a Caster is fine too. Can't wait for the next episode. |

No more of those old static-invisible sword, it's actually something wavering in place like air. Sooo cool. And Maiya's voice is so sexy XD |

It seems like they're a little more than simple partners. Also I just realised that the Fate/Zero has the same director as Gai Rei Zero (now i know why Saint mentioned it at the start of the thread, apart from them both being prequels lol) who also did eps 19 of Shuffle (when Kaede finally snaps). Fuk yeah! More confirmation that Fate/Zero is gonna be GODLIKE |

Would be awesome if there's Nobunaga, or Guan Yu as Servant. Then Hattori Hanzou as Assassin. Lol. I had a deja vu while watching episode 4, though. It reminded me of Stay Night. This post has been edited by Saint on Oct 22 2011, 08:52 PM
