He used feints and whacks the shift stick alot, while i just drove normally using the breaks and 5-in-4-out, and hit the walls less than him. Yet he still beat me by 30-50m... Is that normal, or do I just suck ? |

Hitting the walls, taking turns at too high speeds: the game penalizes you by stalling your acceleration and so you maintain a speed for some time. The bottom line is just to know when to slow down, when to speed up |

They are generally broken down into three general areas. Basic tune (uhh...was is 120k points?) is where you finish all cosmetic mods to your car and have made a few internal upgrades. half tune (500k points) sort of just a term for half okay and half crap. full tune (900k points) this is where your car is potentially as fast as any other car of the same model. anything less than this will be noticeably slower. course also make a difference. some cars do better than others on any given course so if it's a course that his car has an advantage then that can explain your losing to him. |

Yup Basically if you race someone in your same range of points both have (according to ChaosSoilder's post), It'll be an all out race based on skills. BUT it is possible if below the total points that the opponent has, which they can still win, just takes skills, IMO. This post has been edited by DC2rawkr on Feb 13 2010, 08:48 PM | ||
