Tokyopop DID screen an english version of Third Stage a few years ago, so it's not out of the question for them to release that sometime in the future. Third Stage is probably as far as they will go. Fourth Stage might get translated due to it's huge popularity, but probably not by Tokyopop. |

Having started on TP dvd's and then hearing so much about how they "raped the original" I purchased the original series via ebay. All seems well, good looking packaging 3 disc's, english and chinese subs.... but is the original version meant to look like this???? Very jumpy cuts, seems to look very pixelated, I got used to it after awhile but seems to look "substandard" after the TP version......I realize TP "tricked it up" for the US/AUS market.... IS this how it is or did I get ripped???? |

I carefully worded these so they are not spoilers, but please PM me how to type the text in white. If you post here, it wont help me cause im leaving this thread and never looking back. please PM me on how to so I can post spoilers. |

It hasn't been proven yet if they will race in Hakone but there is a very big chance in a way that is possibly a guarantee. IDF member Braja referred Hakone as a big chance since it is supposedly the most popular pass in Kanagawa and Yabitsu is one of the runner ups in popularity (as there could be another pass as popular but I'm not sure if there even is one).

Thanks Chidoki. Boy...I wonder how they're gonna make a miracle out of this one? The only thing i see about Hakone that's significant is probably the dirt jump on one corner of the S curves. That and the dirt shortcut on the highspeed corner. There's probably more to this course since i've only seen it when playing WMMT.

You might as well buy the Extra Stage for a more complete story. It's nothing special but at least it expands the story a bit further aside from Project D and anything with the 86 and FD.

not really necessary so it's not needed. There are maybe a scene or two that are parts taken directly from the manga however but the scenes are so small it's as if they never existed in the original manga. It's basically a completely separate show entirely.
