Forgive me for my lack of knowledge, but when buying a rotary engine, what separates a long block from a short block? derp.gif

Five seconds in Google. It's just like what I wrote above. You can't just throw a short block into a car and fire it up, it's missing critical components.

I was actually trying to be a smartass, since I know that there's no valvetrain/head on a rotary engine, the rotating assembly is the valvetrain. derp.gif

But damn, those Rice Racing engines are sex. Loving the precision work! wub.gif

.... so how do you ring up a rotary in a junkyard.... its technically not a block nor cylinder head, or anything like that..

a housing? $70 bux? whistling.gif

It's tough with a rotary though, I'd consider a fully assembled keg a longblock, if you will.
