well here is my first attempt,

Street limited class:

Orion/Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC) '90/248bhp/ 1:04:377

i know i can get more if i bother to tune it properly. so far i have just lowered it and change a few suspension settings, as well as changing the brake bias to 8-4 to counter the massive brake oversteer that is present with normal settings. i really need to put in an adjustable tranny as well, barely getting into 4th gear atm.

I'm so tired of this track.

Should do something new, like the Indy road course or something of that nature.

GP Sprint Course, if you're gonna do a 'Ring variation.

Hmm, I do suppose that you all are right. This track has been beaten to death and then some more. I only chose this track because I saw it as an opportunity for us to compare GT4 to GT5 with some times. I'll change the track in the form of an edit so stay posted guys.

EDIT!
I changed the course to Indianapolis Road course. I felt that this course would test the abilities of both the lower powered classes and the higher powered classes.

Give me a bit to post my first time as this track is new to me

Cactus/PDI Kart/33hp/2:13.153 Only using reverse gear.

Go ahead and put that on the unlimited list. I don't think it'll be broken any time soon.

There's still at least a second or two left in this thing.

That's for street class btw.

Welp, I'm not exactly sure if you guys really care or not, but I've decided to give these challenges a go. I took a picture of the times I did as proof on my phone, and I have saved the replays as proof. However, I don't have any video capture software available, so I'd have to give you the raw replay data which you'd have to import on your own PS3 to view. But nevertheless, I can and will prove these times via pictures and replays at your request. I did adhere to the regulations of Sport Soft tires, no driving aids or ABS, and Grip Reduction set to "real".

For the first three, I did a 2-lap run. First lap is the break-in lap, and second is the actual run.

As this challenge was made before the introduction of Performance Points, I'll stick those right after the Horsepower values.

ThrasherDBS / Lotus Elise '96 / 250HP / 543PP / Street / 1:41.987
ThrasherDBS / Honda NSX Type R '02 / 400HP / 539PP / Sport Limited / 1:38.560
ThrasherDBS / HKS CT230R '08 / 599HP / 623PP / Super Sport Limited / 1:35.332
ThrasherDBS / PDI RACING KART 100 / 22HP / 466PP / Unlimited / 2:08.442 (also in reverse)

I considered the HKS car a tuner, but if you guys classify that as a race car, go ahead and throw that time out.

Hopefully there will be more competitions like these. This was fun.

EDIT: Updated Performance Point values in lieu of Update 2.11 which modified how performance points were calculated.
