(though its surprising that, with only 16 or 20 something cars for a f**king game show, they could all have interiors, AMIRITE? for a game that people are saying that this game will be their killer app for the ps3, and the sole reason for getting a ps3. yes, the new features will be nice; most noteably online play; and the game will be better than GT4.... but not by much. its basically a car list upgrade and online play. i would buy it in a heartbeat if i had a ps3, but its not worth buying a ps3 for, IMO. |

Because most likely the game at TGS was restricted version of the GT5 PROLOGUE, and not actual GT5. So hush now and let me go back to my full HD arcade dream. |

KY and PD can say anything they want, and still, they can change the game as much as they want to before the release. Thus we can't say a thing for sure before we have the actual game content on our consoles. |

Damn, that sucks. Was there any damage modeling in the demo that you played (at least on race cars)? No matter how fake it is, I'm still pretty impressed that Forza2 has damage, it would suck if GT5 doesn't. The PS3 is probably not capable of rendering that many cars at 1080p in real time, the RSX gpu they use is just a 7900GTX, a 8800GTX is probably needed to do 1080p. But 720p should still look very good anyways.

Disappointing indeed, considering that it was my biggest beef with the GT series. I can forgive everything else, but when the computer doesn't seem to know you exist and tries to plow right through you in order to maintain his "ideal" racing line, it almost ruins the experience. |

Thanks for the info. Man, sucks about the lack of damage modeling, I wish they would copy Colin McRae: Dirt's damage model, it was still fun but it make you drive more carefully; and hopefully they would optimize the game more so it doesn't drop to 15-25fps when all the cars are on the screen.
