no, its set in Tokyo (was it called Neo Tokyo, or am I thinking of something else??) in the year 2040 *suprisingly*. And they are rebuilding the city after it was destroyed by an earthquake.

Anyway, there are these four chicks, and they form a group called the "Knight Sabres" (really original name rolleyes.gif ) and they stop robots known as 'boomers' who have gone crazy, and then it gets a lot more complicated than that.

Neo-Tokyo

Usually if it's in the Future they say Neo-Tokyo cause it's "New Tokyo" cause they've rebuilt it.

well that name or meaning of it isn't mentioned anywhere in the series at all...the creator guy said it had something to do with rising action kinda like a bursting bubblegum or something like that

anywya, cool show. it's OK. nice visuals but boring at the same time :\
